New Tracker Blade

Yeah, if there's a forum for selling accesories I'd like to know too. This would just save me and Bartman some identical emails to Hedgehog. It's not a huge problem though.

Hey Bart, whoever has the sheath made first, we should let the other one know so we can just tell him to make two of em. Sound good?

Hedgehog, I was looking at your website - I can't find any description of what the "Ultra Edge" upgrade is?

Welcome to Bladeforums! Get a Platinum Membership and you can give yourself a custom user title, "Sheathmaker" or your business name or whatever you want, and you can post ads in the Knifemakers' section.

Thanks Cougar,
I just upgraded my membership so that I could continue this conversation about the RAZR in the makers section. I posted a continuation thread here:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388843

To Bart and HippieSmurf, I'd be happy to accomodate you guys with the sheaths however you decide to proceed. Just let me know and we can get the ball rolling.

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the note; I'm glad you said something. Question: is there a place in the forums where selling/advertising is permitted? I know that it requires a certain level of membership however I am having a difficult time understanding the differences between each membership. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. However, it looks like you have everything worked out.

Welcome to BladeForums and enjoy your time here.

We're still waiting for you to post a review on the "Tracker" style knife you bought from RedScorpion6 on Ebay. Whatever happened with that deal? Did you ever get the knife?

Well, did you ever get this knife? And, if so, what's the verdict?

Danbo,

I will tell you what I think of the knife once I receive. Looks like Aaron hasn't got all the way unpacked and had family emergency that took him to Texas or something. I just got an email from him and he said he would be back in St Louie on Wednesday and Shipping out Thursday. I think it will be worth the wait though. Thinking about giving the John Lighting knife a go as well. Still looks like my TOPS though. Has anyone heard any details on this knife? Is TOPS making this knife and marketing under different designer and reseller?
If the Predator isn't that great I may be looking to go that way, I really like the TOPS S Eagle and this looks like some decent enhancements not sure if the $100 price increase is worth it though. If anyone has more detail please let me know Hedge's description isn't that great between differences of models.

Same here guys. I'm gettin real itchy to chop, slice, cut, saw, fillet and stab everything around me so I'd better get that thing soon!

So, the ebay auction ended 23 January, and nobody has received their knives yet?

Is he saying that he is away from email? Just currious........

no not away from his email, he seems to be using public computer I think he is trying to stay in touch. from the last email I got I could feel his frustration. He probably has way to check email. He is sending directly from his personal email. He said he was shipping out on Thursday March 2nd. If not Aaron will have to make it up to me. I bought straight through his website. I should be getting mine by the weekend though he is overnighting mine. I will be back on the 3rd to let you know.

Be sure to give us a full review here on BF. I think I can safely say we are all very interested to hear how the "Predator" performs in the field and under intense use. Sounds like Aaron has ran into many obstacles since launching this thing. I just hope that all his customers are pleased and that the product is as good as he promotes it to be.

Another maker with distribution issues? I hope not. Good luck.

I think he will be fine. I don't agree with Whitedragon though I am still objective to the evaluation. I will give feed back on Friday

Tomorrow is the big say Bart. I talked to Aaron last night. He even gave me his cell phone number! I'm gettin really itchy to get this thing.

DUDE just got the email with tracking just departed just left Creve Coeur MO and on the way. Had a brief setback but he did what he said. Think he is pretty up front dude. Yeah he asked me to call when I get it. I have not heard anything from Hedgehog on price of sheath or how long it will take.

I have all the same info as Bartman. Which serial number did he give you btw? Or didn't he tell you? He said #10 was going to a guy in Iraq and 1-9 were in storage for a while. Probably for his friends and family or something. Or maybe just for kicks who knows?

It's here!! And it is beautiful. The edge is razer sharp, the saw back is staggered serations just like the Beck knives! I only opened it 2 minutes ago so I haven't done anything with it yet.

edit: Just got off the phone with Aaron. Really nice guy. He did say he sent an email to Paul at Hedgehog Leatherworks about sending him a knife for sheath patterns so that's a plus. Bartman and I may not even have to send our knives away to have the sheaths made.
