New ZT drop on 11/4. Any leakes?

Thank you ZT, because I've overspent on knives lately. The auto is illegal where I live, and the fixy is boring.

However, I am getting into the 0452 in MagnaCut. It needs a larger, all Ti clip, which I'm getting. And more exciting scales. I was underwhelmed at first, but it's growing on me.

^Haha your right that fixed blade is nothing revolutionary at all : the auto: not bad but nothing groundbreaking either. Its gonna take a miracle for them to come up with something that will be well recieved!

My thoughts:

0556: Somehow fitting that perhaps the last “ZT branded” folder is a sleek, smooth, carbon fiber and TI auto. I’ll pass and buy a Microtech for the same price or a Pro-Tech for a lot less.

0004: I liked it better when it was an Eafengrow 128

Bel Air: great knife, I own and recommend the base model, but at $200, it’s out of its league.

Mini-Iridium: again, a great knife but the quirky light teal scales on the base model gave it appeal. Not so much for the blacked out one. Filtrum approved!

Dawn star: no. I need an EDC that can cut a sandwich.

Fairly underwhelming reveal. I feel like this could’ve been a Spyderco reveal.

Love the leather sheath with the 0004, a first for ZT that I am aware of.

Order placed.

I doesn't tickle my fancy -- I prefer Kydex or Bolatron because I don't have to worry about storing a knife in it- but congrats on your purchase. 😊

The 004 does have a pretty nice sheath but given its size, its just another tushcraft knife.....

I have to say…

These two are finally ZTs that I would buy…

I wont. But I would. The 4 seems right up my alley for belt carry. Size, profile, steel and sheath are all in my preferred specs. Had I not recently discovered and purchased multiple Volunteer Knives, Ide be waiting for a 0004 to land on my doorstep

the 004 is something I might impulse buy just because i have been bitching about them not releasing fixed blades. I've never seen an 0006 in the wild. It's not my favorite, but a wide blade made out of Cruwear is tempting for a hiking knife. The price isn't bad, and the main reason I havent rounded out my BM Adamas collection with a fixed blade is that it looks uncomfortable. So put me on the fence of, "If I have a couple hundred bucks and a good excuse, I might get it if my LKS has one in stock".

I have the 0180 that is a good tactical fixed blade, but it's a heavy cuss for a 4" blade. This one might be better for hiking.

New Hinderers are better than ZT Hinderers, but it was a thing when the ZT0392 was better than any Eklipse, lol.

I've pretty much given up on finding a ZT0392WC, as much as I want one. I think I've seen a couple pop up in the usual spots in the last few years, and both times they were over $1K.
