New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

What is the retail price guys? About $225.....I've completely forgot and don't want to sift through this massive thread. ;)

I can't wait, whouldn't it be cool if they were almost ready and Thomas dropped a bombshell post announcing that they've started shipping? You never can tell with Thomas, he's full of surprises!

I think it's more like $325 retail.

EDIT: It is $325. I preordered at $260. Lotsa bang for the buck.

Yeah. $260 MAPP. $325 MSRP

Awesome knife for anything under $400 in my book. This will rival all of my custom flippers.

If that price is indeed MAP (meaning no one can sell them below that price) it's $90 less than an XM-18 but not "all ti construction." The money must be in the bearings and blade steel size I guess.

Don't forget the 3-D machined Ti! I do wish the liner was Ti though. I also wish they could do the high polish stonewash job that Hinderer does. Those blades are beautiful. I'm actually planning to have mine polished and re-tumbled.

That, and I'm not LE so a Hinderer costs at least $460 for me.

You're right Rick's stonewash blades have a mirror finish on them when you reflect them in the light at the right angle - glossy. My DT 20CV blade is unbelievably smooth. Really nice. :D

If the Tilt and this are released around the same time, my head might just explode from the excitement of getting both (or from the loss of over $500 in a very short period of time) ;)

This would be good therapy for your future in knife collecting. Think of it that way. Just another hurdle. Soon, dropping $1k on a folder or 2 for e.g. won't sting that much. :D

I'm sure the day will come. I've been collecting for only four years but when I started, I thought 50-60 bucks was ALOT for a knife...I now usually spend at LEAST that, haha. I haven't gone beyond 3 digits on a single knife yet but there are blades out there I would spend darn close to a grand on. The main reason I want an 0561 is because its as close as I can get to an XM-18/24 without breaking that 4 digit threshold yet.

An XM-18 won't cost more than $675 to $750 from what I've seen. You're ready man! Buy one

Well, I've seen the 24's going pretty darn high. I will no doubt buy one eventually. I'm sure once I have my 0561, it'll coerce me even more. Once that and the Tilt are in my hands, i'll probably be buying either a Strider SnG, an XM-18, or a Yuna folder.
