New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

Yeah , would be cool to have some updated ballpark ETA
Didn't care for the 0551 , but this one is wicked
Love the machining Kershaw doing on the G10 and Ti , and flippers are truly the greatest thing since the sliced bread
 
Ahh, it's not just me that's getting the tooth grind going on for my new collaboration knife! The natives grow restless and clamor for their new flippers!!

Bring 'em on Thomas - how about talking to us? Plz post a shot of a hotty secretary modeling the new 0560/0561 or somebody in a pirate hat with one in his teeth or something!!!! :( :D

Torture waiting in between weeks of forgetting - then a picture like that. I should just unsubscribe from this darn thread. I made my pre-order why get bummed out once in awhile. :(
 
Is it just me or is the 0777 bigger than you first thought? My initial impression was that it would be a nice, medium-sized, "gentleman's" knife. It looks downright beastly next to the 0561 and other ZT knives. Wow, and thanks for the comparison pic's.

You have to hold it to see that it's super lightweight and fast in the hand. While it does look large it doesn't nearly feel that large at all. Quite the amazing feat of Engineering that ZT's R&D pulled off here.
 
they are all so beautiful what sucks is that alot of people won't be able to EDC them since alot of states have a max blade length of 3.5 in... I too thought the 0777 was like a 3in blade... thats 2 knives both the 0560/61 and 0777 now i have to take off my list ... plz plz make mini versions or smaller ones to keep Johnny Law off our backs..

I'd like to point out that the comparison picture was taken at a fairly extreme angle. The 0301 is only 0.125 inch shorter than the 0200.
0301=8.625", 0200=8.75, 0561 & 0777=8.8"

So over all the 0301 is only 0.175" shorter overall than the 0777 or the 0561.
This of course depends on whether or not the specs on the ZT brochures are correct.

Not saying that they aren't large knives, but they aren't really that much bigger than the 0301 or 0200.

Agreed these are most certainly "gentleman's knives." ;) It just happens to depend on what part of society you hang out with. My friends admired my Rajah 1 when I asked if they'd like a knife for their sandwiches and waved that beast out - a few feet in front of them, sitting down eating. I was bummed out because it didn't get much of a reaction except "nice blade man." :(
