Not saying that they aren't large knives, but they aren't really that much bigger than the 0301 or 0200.

Absolutely correct. It was just that in my mind's eye (and after skipping over the details in a mad rush to look at pictures), I had the initial impression that the 0777 was more a more gentlemanly, William Henry-ish, knife. As these pictures show, it's 100% ZT brawn utilizing extreme quality materials. Very impressive indeed, and sort of a "wow" moment for me. :eek:

It's definitely a "wow" knife! :eek: I'm getting the flipper though. Can't get the use out of both. In fact, don't realy need the flipper - I want it!
 
I'd love to know within a couple/few month window in which it will most likely will be released so I know how much to set aside, especially if it's around Christmas.

I heard late 2011, early 2012 from the dealer I got my Spyderco Chaparral from last week. I've got my 0560 on order with him too.

I hope not but........... the way the Tilt has gone it could happen.

Under promise and over deliver. I think is going to be Thomas's motto from now on. Much better to be surprised than disappointed.
 
The Tilt ....:confused: oh yah I remember that one :D ........................Iam still waiting on the 0780 too.
I relly dont mind that much ........ I,d rather wait than send it back:)
 
I'm really looking forward to getting the 0560 ASAP but I'm sure that it's much more important to Kia/ZT to get everything just right so everyone will be pleased with the final product. I feel like I'm on a roll, my last three knife purchases have been the Spyderco Sage 2 then the A.G. Russell Acies and then the ZT 0551. All three jumped right up into my top 5-6 folders so I have a VERY good feeling about the 0560. :D
 
I put in my pre-order today (0560), went with the same dealer that I gave endless grief to until I finally received my 0551.
So it's kind of a "thank you" from me for them finally getting me the 0551 in the first place, as well as a "oh no, here we go again..." moment for them.
