New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

I held out from buying a 055X cause I knew something like this had to be coming down the pipes, and already having a 0301 didn't hurt the wait.

What is it going to be called (Ie. model number)?

I received a ZT 0300 in the mail yesterday - fun piece.

Still waiting on my 0551...

Oh man. It feels like Christmas! I'm already debating which of my knives I should sell to buy this ZT/Hinderer knife. I have a feeling I will definitely have to get on the pre-order list for this one.

Like I said before...

Thanks for the pics. I expect something to change and details will flesh out later. I'll be expecting delivery sometime before the fourth quarter.

... I do love the idea of a longer flipper though. Sign me up for two (again)!!

This is going to be a great knife year. We're just going into March and we have this to look forward to. :)

Wow this knife has all the features I was dreaming of for quite a while...
This is the one knife to rule them all !!!!
I want it
I lust for it
I need it !!
NOW !

That's a huge part of what makes the ZT/Hinderer collabs so desirable and strong to me. Studs as the blade stop are much more desirable to me over a rear stop pin.

Did the 0551 use a stop pin when the blade was closed like the xm finaly or just made use of the thumbstuds like 030X? Looking at those cad pictures I don't see a closed stop pin and I just realized the cad rendering has a lot more jimping then the 055X in many places similar to the XM

The one I got looked like the thumb lugs were the blade stops. :)

If you are referring to the stop pin in the handle that is the blade stop when the knife is closed then yes, the 0550/0551 has this feature and this new design also has that seperate stop pin when the blade is closed. Just like the XM-18...Thanks
