New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

If you are referring to the stop pin in the handle that is the blade stop when the knife is closed then yes, the 0550/0551 has this feature and this new design also has that seperate stop pin when the blade is closed. Just like the XM-18...Thanks

Rick

That's interesting, thanks...have you guys thought about which steel might end up being used for the blade?

The design looks fantastic. It looks like a slicer grind and I'm liking that. I wouldn't change a damn thing about it. It looks like another winner for sure.

Thanks for the sneak peek pics Thomas. I'm not surprised in the least, but what a beauty this one looks like!!!

I love the the fact that you guys are collaborating on a flipper. My favorite type of folder for sure. Can't wait to see more as it progresses.

Thanks buddy!

Thomas, is there any chance of Kershaw offering a lefty framelock in the future? Besides a couple knives priced ~$400, lefties don't have any options when it comes to framelocks. I'm sure a lefty version of the 0551 or this new flipper would be a great seller

I'd buy one...

Looks like you fixed the only two things I didn't like on the 0551, no jimping on the frame behind the blade and no flipper. I dig the grind on that too. Perfect!

Over 10,000 views in just 10 days!! I'd say there is a little interest in this release!!!:D:D:D:D

The Best way to market a product like this. That cant be denied.
Rick and Thomas must be pleased. This is reaching out to the right people.
These will go so fast!

Everyone gets crazy over the Spyderco S90V sprint runs including myself. They hold their value and even go up. If they do a sprint run the S110V would be a good choice if they can get their hands on enough of it.

The guy I buy my Kershaws and ZT's from already got my email the day after I started this thread. :D

I wouldn't worry about knock offs--they can't match the quality.

Where's the preorder list at? :foot:

Sorry. :o I couldn't resist. :D

Can't wait for the knockoff to beat the original to the steets...

true, but I was thinking of the dealers wanting to sell some 0550's first.

still....

Let's have a 3" blade this time for more state legal carry!

Other than that I would love:
Bright blue or multi-colored G10 textured scales (if this is in Rick's court and there are options like the XM... :D)
Frame-lock with tumbled Ti finish
Tumbled finish on the blade too! As for steel I trust ZT.
SPANTO blade!!! At least as an option.

Can't wait!

Just noticed the low-rider clip, THANK YOU Thomas and Rick!!! I love that feature, it really helps for discreet carry.

Guys, that may not be a sponto tip. It appears that the blade is just a lower resolution than the rest of the knife and that sponto line might be a breakline between the two 3d faces. based on the model, its hard to tell how the blade will be ground for sure.
