Thomas, just wondering if the pivots will be tightened down from the factory (laws got stricter here :/ ) or will I have to contact the place I pre-ordered with? Cheers.
If you look at the video "kershawmike" posted, he says that they put a pretty big detent on the blade. So it won't come out very easily from flinging it, but it's almost frictionless once it does get past the detent. Not to say that you absolutely can't open it like a gravity knife with a little practice, but as Michael Yanich says, there are some people who can empty a revolver accurately in a couple of seconds. That doesn't mean a revolver is a full-auto, and developing the ability to open knives with momentum doesn't make a folder a gravity knife.
Try telling that to customs. These people will easy make a mountain from a mole hill. I'm not going to start calling them names as I don't want to get in trouble.

I got on the list (for 2) back on Feb 22. I haven't felt the wait has been long at all.
Of course, I'm used to the Busse "two week" wait so 9 or 10 months seems quick to me.
