New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

Still so excited for this knife! Going to have to ebay a good portion of my current stockpile but it seems worth it.

Any chance of some more awesome factory pics? :D

EBay? EBay? Man gotta get a membership and sell your stuff on here.

Agreed. I've only sold 3 knives on ebay that weren't purchased here - one that I knew would bring a huge ticket (above and beyond their crazy fees). The ebay sellers fee is horrendous then you get popped in the backside by their sister company PayPal for another fee for scraping the cash. Definitely is worth a Gold membershiip here to buy and sell your knives. :)

Thomas, just wondering if the pivots will be tightened down from the factory (laws got stricter here :/ ) or will I have to contact the place I pre-ordered with? Cheers.

I got on the list (for 2) back on Feb 22. I haven't felt the wait has been long at all.

Of course, I'm used to the Busse "two week" wait so 9 or 10 months seems quick to me. :D

If you look at the video "kershawmike" posted, he says that they put a pretty big detent on the blade. So it won't come out very easily from flinging it, but it's almost frictionless once it does get past the detent. Not to say that you absolutely can't open it like a gravity knife with a little practice, but as Michael Yanich says, there are some people who can empty a revolver accurately in a couple of seconds. That doesn't mean a revolver is a full-auto, and developing the ability to open knives with momentum doesn't make a folder a gravity knife.

Try telling that to customs. These people will easy make a mountain from a mole hill. I'm not going to start calling them names as I don't want to get in trouble.

Even if you reefed on the pivot, the knife will still open fairly smoothly, so the anal customs officer could still potentially make an argument. The detent is very strong. You're probably going to have to contact your favorite dealer and work something out to take the washers out or something.

Ha...I remember those days.;) Order a Busse then wait a year to get it. The piglets are spoiled now. :p

Hell, my Randal is a 5 year wait...won't see it until 2013.

I'm in no hurry, as long as I got on the list I can wait a few months. Gives me time to buy other stuff.....got keep busy somehow!
