I've found that steel on steel friction works REALLY damned good on the G-Mascus Hogue EX01. The bolster plate has a rasied section on each side that acts as a spacer between the actual bolster plate and the tang and acts as a "formed" washer against the tang and it breaks in SUPER smooth![]()
