New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

Looks like what's lacking on these knives are just the pocket clips and lockbar stabilizers. And then these ZTs will be off to the dealers.

I like the toxic color finish of the Ti lockside.

Thomas you are like a super hot, big booty girl showing her buttcrack, while wearing those super short shorts......A TEASE

Great, just great....I know I'm gonna be seeing this image in my nightmares, Thomas's avatar pic, sitting on top of the body you've described!

On a more serious note, real glad to see they're finally escaping the factory. Hopefully my 560 and 561 will find their way home soon :)

Been busy out there today...

Last procedure before getting put in a box.

I never would have guessed that the logo goes on last...is it a dye/paint(?) applied to the blade or is it etched on by some sort of atomic powered laser? <grin> It would be fascinating to see a video of some of the machining done at your facility. The knife looks amazing in the pictures that have been posted, thanks for putting them up.

I've got my fingers crossed that I'm not too far down on the pre-order list at my favorite online store.

Look at all that candy! My iPhone crashed today. I lost everything even the backup. I've been a bear all day! This just put a smile on my face. Thanks, Thomas.

Hmm. I am getting upset about all these 0561 pictures all day. I was on the preorder for the 0560 in june, and didn't have sense to preorder the 0561 as well until december.... I hope everything coming out isn't brown! :D

Dang. That is a lot of knife for the money! The pic of it in his hand really reminds you how large out is. I preordered earlier this week but the wait will be worth it.

Am I the only person slightly ticked that this was released outside the USA first. I understand when Japanese products are released in Japan first.

I'm sure a few are ticked I would have like to see it announced prior to it actually happening but it is a business first

It's not like they did it to spite anyone, I'm sure that they must have had business obligations to fulfill...nothing more.

I'm sure it wasn't out of spite but like bobnery said it was a business decision. I just think it is a poor decision which seems to be a new trend for Kershaw just like their new decision not to announce release dates anymore because to paraphrase Thomas we have a hard time being patient even though Items announced in Jan 2011 haven't been released by Feb 2012. I have been a loyal fan of Kershaw for many years but I question some of their recent decisions.

Life is too big for me to effected by how KIA handles the production and sales of this knife.

I was there today. I'll post more about my tour and stuff later (lots to say.. first is THANKS THOMAS AND JIM AND SARAH!!). It's actually fairly interesting if you're a big nerd like me. The knives go down in a fixture that holds the blade level and sets the knife in position so all knives of a particular model sit in the same place under the laser. Then the thing just goes to work. They have multiple lasers. One of them you feed multiples in to a plate with several plates on a giant wheel and it spins and lasers several blades in a shot. The technology at KAI is absolutely amazing. If you are interested in this stuff, there is a short segment with some of this stuff on the Modern Marvels segment called "is that a _ in your pocket" or something of that sort.
