New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

I also was at Kershaw yesterday and did manage to spend some time with the 0560 on Thomas's desk. I have had some experience with knives, custom and Manufactured, I also played with some onion mid techs and I will say that the 0560 is the most impressive production piece I have ever handled, I was quite impressed and I would love to have one of Ricks Xm's in my other hand to have an actual comparison and I hope someone does that, I just don't see how, in my opinion there could be a huge expanse between the two, because in hand the 0560 feels like a custom and I don't have to say that, it is true. This is my favorite knife that kershaw has done to date and I suspect it will VERY soon be yours as well. Kudos to all that have been involved in this process.

Oooh! oooh! maybe while you were over at Kershaw they loaded you up with some 0560s?! and then you carried them away to start sending them out to people with june preorders?! maybe? maybe?

they must be shipping i just got an email with a tracking number!!!!! and i verified it with my credit card:D

This thread should be retitled to " The Real Knife Guys of Bladeforums". So much bickering id rather watch the beverly hills housewives with my girlfriend. S**t.

After using and breaking in my 560 for a few days I can honestly say that it's my favorite knife and it's going to be hard to beat. It opens so quick and with so much authority, and with such ease. It locks up like a tank. You guys are all going to love it! The lock bar was sticking, but after I took it apart and pencil'd the titanium/blade this thing is PERFECT!

As you can see, I have a bit of a liking for and experience with Hinderer's (including a custom).

I visited Rick at the last summer gathering at his house and I am honored to be able to call both Rick and Rob Orlando my friends. I have yet to handle the ZT-056X. So if someone tells me something about the comparison, I have no reason to doubt them. I can certainly decide for myself after my ZT's arrive. If the opinion is true, it does not diminish my collection in the least. I am actually happy to receive a "better" knife into my collection. If the opinion is untrue, I am sure that the ZT's will be worth more than what I pay for them and they feature some new technologies so either way I am not worried. I think this argument is kind of like saying my dad can beat up your dad.

Now for Gnarly's sake, can we all just sing Kum Ba Yah and have that group hug?

I've been thinking about something ever since the guys who got the knife already and said that the thumb studs do not really work. This is not meant to start anything and should not be taken as a complaint of any kind. But what was done differently from the 0561 that was in the kershawknivesmike video where he was flicking it open with his pinkey to the ones being shipped. I just saw the other day(yesterday I think) where one of the mods said that this was meant to be used as a flipper, which is completely understandable. I was just wondering if there was different type of machining going on, or if there was a different build process? Thanks in advance guys!
