Here's a suggestion for a unique G-10 pattern; repeated "ZT" in small font etched into the textured G-10 (ZTZTZTZTZTZT).
kind of like this but smaller; maybe 1/8 inch characters...

Don't take this the wrong way but that doesn't really work for me. I hate it when company's over do it by stamping their logo's all over a product. IMO the less markings the better.

Here's hoping for a knife that's as close to sterile as possible. I get that your suggestion is a pattern on the scale but again IMO it's tacky. YMMV. . .
 
No offense taken. :D I just figured they'd be doing some sort of pattern and if the "ZT" was small enough it would barely be noticeable. But you have a point, it could look gaudy in person depending on the design.

Plastic backspacers can crack with time or an unfortunate knock. I'd much prefer barrel spacers.
 
I think the ergos on the flipper design are awesome. I guess we will have wait to see what Rick wanted to do with the g10 side of the knife.
 
I Q-Tip the inside of my 0551 once a week. I prefer open construction all the way :thumbup:
