Well said there..........I agree totallyWe are privileged to have our finger on the pulse of ZT/Kershaw knives through these forums. We get a lot of info here that wouldn't normally be accessible - kept up to date on many new releases and products. If we keep up the spoiled, got have it now, bad attitude in these threads - we may lose the welcome door approach Thomas, ZT and Kershaw have given us. Which is much more insight into there company than most give.
I'm sorry, but it's crap that the international thing is still getting cried about. Kai, being a foreign company, it's pretty insane for people to think that it has to be here first and that there is something wrong with the international obligations being taken care of first is a bad thing.
In some places, made in the USA goods are still a hot commodity. Remember what Levis were worth overseas?
My preorder was refunded today, the dealer isn't getting anything from the first batch and that's life. I pmed kershawguy months ago asking if it was too late to preorder and never got a response from him. Maybe because I've never ordered from him? O well.
I'll get one when I get one. I have other knives, responsibilities, etc to worry about some of these going overseas first, or that I didn't get a preorder in early enough. It's still just a knife, all that came out of this crying was a lesson learned and a loss of a lot of information on what will be coming down the pipeline.
Must have missed your PM, not sure how. Sorry
I, too, got my 0560 today. I still can't figure out where they hid the spring. The blade just jumps open!
Kudos to the ZT crew and Rick! I think this one might see more pocket time than the XM-24.

That's the same dealer someone was asking the same question about earlier today (the Florida-based dealer that boasts on their regular [non-eBay] website about being an authorized ZT dealer and has other models for sale there). The answer earlier seemed to be that there's nothing in ZT's policies that prevents them from doing it, but that there's also nothing that prevents us from refusing to do any business with such a dealer, whether now or in the future.Hi I found someone on ebay who is selling them for about $400, but it seams that they have also a normal shop where they are selling other ZT Knifes.
They claim to get 24 0560 by next week. Is this legal, to put them overpriced on ebay!

Terrible business practices IMOThat's the same dealer someone was asking the same question about earlier today (the Florida-based dealer that boasts on their regular [non-eBay] website about being an authorized ZT dealer and has other models for sale there). Plus, as someone pointed out earlier, not only are they a dealer getting them for wholesale and selling them for above MSRP, but if you look at the fine print of their listing, they don't even have them in stock but claim that all orders will be shipped by March 8. Authorized dealer or not, it sounds like they're out to make a quick buck on a product they don't even have in stock and, given how limited the supply of 0560s is, may not even have any guarantee of getting within the time frame they're claiming.![]()

It's pretty amazing, huh? I guarantee if you showed the knife to 100 non-knife geeks and flicked it open they would call it a "switchblade" or "automatic" or s something along those lines.
cziv, with MAP a dealer can sell at whatever price they please. You just can't advertise it for less than the policy allows.Yes - some dealers will charge a bit more than others, MAP of $260 is minimum advertised price - or - the lowest they can be sold for supposedly. Some shopkeepers inventory or overhead may warrant them having to charge a little bit more. That's fine under MAP pricing. (just not less $$)![]()
