New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

Starting back in May 2010, I had this uneasy feeling when I signed up here....I should prob'ly stay away....they'll laugh @ my rookie questions....I'm not smart enough to fool anybody into thinking I belong....I already spend too much on handloading supplies & guns & scopes & hunts & stuff....it's all prob'ly stuff I can never afford....I have enough knives....

( Hindsight is an exacting science.I was right about most of it. )

BRING THE FLIPPER(s)!

Gnarly, you had me at hello :D. Lol it wouldn't be the same without you!

Thanx,Alphahunter!

And thanx! to you & all the esteemed members here, who have resisted flaming the rookie; I've learned quite a lot here.

In trying to be a better sharpener,I think I've read every post Knifenut has ever made here...twice.

In trying to understand what makes great steel great,I've shadow-read several here....

To me: it's been quite a kick to hang out with Thomas W. & Rick Hinderer et al, all from the comfort of my One Finger keyboard.

To be able to get direct play-by-play and answers from the folks who are building my grail knives-phenomenal!

Unless I win the Lottery,I'll never own a XM....just not meant to be,in this lifetime.

Besides,my Dad would have said,"Son,don't get above your raising!"

To me,the Flipper is NOT settling for second-best....we are able to blabber our input & jest with the folks bringing it to us!

Somewhere there is a bloody mess,in both Ohio & Oregon.I wish we could have intervened.I'm certain they put up one helluva fight.Since we were all already thinking it,I'll be the first to put it in print, here.

The friggin' Aliens done took Thomas W. & Rick H.!

There; I've put all our collective fears on the World Wide Web.

And don't feel a daym bit better.

Still no report from Thomas or Rick....daymit. I guess Aliens need fine knives, also.

Wish they had left a trail of cookie crum__ err: metal shavings for us to follow.

Just hate the thought of those lil' green bahstids  getting our Flippers before we did!

:grumpy:

It's probably better that we have the makers visit the thread less. The're busy working, cranking out knives of all sorts, Blade is just around the corner and they've given us the schematic already plus hints aout replacement scales too.

Last run, the ZT 0551, every time Thomas made the slightest remark, it would begin 10 new pages of inquiries. I bet Thomas aged a year over that sprint run.

I'm liking the more laid back approach on this model. I want them to take their time and produce a dynamite product - better than we could ever goad them into producing.

I'm sure they're subscribed and check on us knife nuts anyway.

Hi Thomas! Hi Rick! Love yer knives and won't stop buying them!! :D

Thomas/Rick, do not pay any attention to this previous post.:) We need all the information you are willing to give and we love to see you on the boards here once is a while. Please come back soon, we miss your thoughts, ideas, pictures, hints, teases, and whatever else you bring.

Don't say never, you may find yourself wandering in the For Sale threads some day and find one that you just have to have. It happens, I know! :D

Now that it's Monday, maybe we'll hear from Rick or Thomas. No updates = sadness.:(

Amazing!

Great to hear that.

Any update is better than no update at all....

And that one shows some promise,no doubt!

Stuff like this makes my trig__Flipper finger itchyscratchy.
