New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

I'd love to see this knife offered in a non-flipper version as well. I would buy one in both versons. I can see this model easily surpassing anything else that has been introduced to date. Including the 0551 - and I love the 0551!

What exactly makes you say this BPG?

I agree. This is such a bold statement that it almost knocked me out of my chair. When you say that it will easily surpass anything to date you do mean Zero Tolerance models right? It's just that from a couple of pictures of the scales and one picture of some unground blades, making the statement that it will easily surpass anything to date is quite a leap. Excitement sometimes makes people say some crazy things. I'm guilty of it myself.

Yes I mean ZT knives. And no, I don't know exactly what it will be like, but if it turns out as I suspect it will, it is going to be very similar to the XM-18. Is it such a stretch to then predict that a knife like that would sell like hot cakes?

Now just to be clear, I'm not saying I know anything more than anyone else around here 'cause I don't know Jack. And I'm not saying it will be a poor man's XM-18. I'm saying I suspect it may turn to be that way. And if it is, it should be a terriffic product for both ZT and the designer.

I really don't see what is so bold about that statement or even particularly imaginative. How many people would love to own an XM-18 but can't afford to pay that much? Even those who can sometimes can't find one.

Feel free to disagree. . . .

Guess what?........................Less than 50 days until Blade Show!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forgve me if I've missed it, but is there a preorder list for this badboy yet?
I missed my chance on the 0551, I don't want to miss this one.

Agree with BPGreen...very best ZT yet,is my prediction....more posts, more interest, more feeding frenzy...in fact,IIRC,I had predicted that awhile back, here on this thread.

The ZT/Hinderer collaboration was bound to produce astounding results!

And to my friend tower2: I dunno if there's too much or not...it takes a lot to make a hor mone.

I should have been more specific BPG. I meant why would you say you'd want a non-flipper version of a flipper? I see you've kinda answered that by saying it more resembles the XM-18. I agree at this point. I guess we'll have to wait for the big unveil at BLADE! :D

The pictures you are seeing are of prototype parts. In other words, the knife doesn't even really exist yet, so I can assure you, there should be no preorder list yet.

It's 'cause I like the knife but I'm not really that crazy about flippers. I own both versions of the XM-18. The non-flipper goes everywhere with me. Other than for pics and a little bit of fondling when I first got it, the flipper hasn't been out of the box it came in since I got it.

Send me your XM Flipper :D I'll use it for ya ;)
