Nothing dorky about being excited about a new knife. I get that way all the time, especially about a awesome knife like this. I can't wait to see the prototype on this knife. :D

i really don't like zt anymore...
untill a year ago i never even heared of them, than i read about the 551 but it was so late i had to get the 301 waiting for it. and the 302, 350 cb and now this? when will it end?:D

Looks nice, but I would lose the jimping under the handle near the back for more comfort and go with a flatter grind. The front choil area already locks the hand in good so I don't see the need for the rear jimping unless one is going to wear gloves when using it all the time. I do like the smooth scales though, that's a big plus IMO and it's looks like it will be nice and thin for easy carry too.

The first pictures showed a smooth scale, but I think that was just because the scale was not completed yet. Thomas posted this pic of the scales that were recently completed.

Am tagging along to Blade with Roger / KW and D Ritter this year.
2k mi flight........
Be sure and stash a nice black one me.
So far, this is the only one I am certain to pick up.

Any projected arrival date on these? Summer? Fall? Winter? I'm contemplating a non-ZT expensive knife at the moment but if this is coming out soon i may just wait for the ZT!
 
There has been no projected arrival date.:( Just the initial debut at Blade Show.
I doubt the Ti side will be textured. I'm hoping it's stonewashed!:)

Wait, saying you now understand why he wants a non-flipper because it's more like an XM-18 makes no sense to me. The XM-18 comes in flipper and non-flipper conformations, so how does the absence of a flipper make it more similar?
 
I'm really really hoping the metal side will be textured like the ZT 300.
I just can't warm up to smooth metal handles. Other than that i love the new design.
