My mom want's to know the steel. It's all she wanted for mother's day, and I had to let her down...

I told her AUS 6, and she replied, "Don't worry about coming to Christmas!".

Not knowing the blade steel is tearing my life apart...

ELMAX is very easy to sharpen and will take a great edge.

It will be the high tech ZNP710 probably the best steel you could ever dream of. You can get this stuff so sharp that it is almost non existent.

Can't find any data on it... Alloy content etc.

Thanks. Sharpened mine on a WEP up thru the 3.5 micron strop. Doesn't have nearly as refined an edge. Looks like I need a lot more practice.
