New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

joejooee, that would be Elmax from Bohler-Uddholm that was used on the 0551. Vanax 35 was originally spec'd, but problems with supply led to a switch for production.

Maybe a third collaborator is coming into the game........Busse will bring the INFI!:)

Man, you took the words right out of my mouth. Infi! Or some new supersteel that Kershaw/ZT and Rick have been staying up nights developing and testing, (testing by using it to push cut through inferior steel blades, and chop through industrial rolls of silica carbide sandpapers, just to check toughness and edge-holding...) Well, I mean, it's possible, right...? :)

I agree 100% there. :)

ELMAX will take an insane edge, even by my standards it's beyond insane how sharp it can get.

VERY fined grain, very tough, and very stain resistant.

This is ELMAX, the hair is .001" thick.

Very impressive. That edge looks pretty darn good. How'd you get it that sharp?

It will be the high tech ZNP710 probably the best steel you could ever dream of. You can get this stuff so sharp that it is almost non existent.
