But as long as there's a ZT/Hinderer Flipper :D (SPANTO?) :D in my future,I don't give a daym if the scales are freeze-dried pasteurized processed cheese food.
Or hoof trimmings of Rick's favorite quarter horse.
Or the Dumpster lid from behind Thomas W.'s home.

How did you know I used to train Quarter horses?!! :) My wife Lori's family also raised Quarter horses for over 40 years!

Id say for the limited run version(561), you should make both scales ti and a super awesome blade steel and for the 560, g10 with a super awesome blade steel :D
 
I figured it would take about five pages for this thread to become ridiculously cluttered with wish lists, conjecture, and other nonsense. I was wrong, it only took three.

I agree...unfortunatly...like stating model numbers...nobody directly involved with the project has said anything about what model number this knife will be..so why make up a model number in a post? It will only confuse things as we move forward with the project...

Guys, come on...I for one think its awesome and I am humbled by the excitement that the collaborations between myself and ZT have generated, and am looking forward to the fun that these threads generate...but please lets not make shit up...

This knife is designed and we are working on it. Im sure Thomas will let everyone in on details as he is able too.....

People stating in posts what they would like to see is one thing(even though again this knife is already designed) but as I read these posts I can see how people can get a idea that some features stated by posters are in fact official features on the knife...thats going to make things awful confusing!

So again, if you want to have fun in a thread like this and want participation in this thread by participants in the evolution of this project please refrain from these types of posts..

I'll take blame on some of this. I read in a post about a 560 model. I wasn’t stating that was the name of this model but asking. I can see where this is going and how first time readers jumping on this post could get confused.

ill take some of the heat too. i made up rumors that the new knife would be weightless, fires missiles, and comes with unlimited beer...I'm sorry if i mislead anyone. it wasnt my intention.

maybe a picture of the knife may put an end to the rumors.

You broke my heart when I realized you made those features up :( The missiles would have been a nice feature for when you backs against the wall. I guess I will have to stick with my Rolex that fires a laser.....:D
 
Actually I tried the missile option but couldnt get the licensing from the DOD...damn, it would have been cool too! :) haha

And as for the beer...couldnt do that either but the design did have a little influence from 12 year old sipping Rum! ;)

It was just a lucky guess,Rick.
After seeing some pix of you,firing a semi-auto I believe,and after checking our your website a few jillion times,I kinda figgered you for a Quarter Horse man.And not the kinda man that would get out of the shower to pee.

Any other horse,and you'd be sayin': "Gee,I coulda had a V8!", because they are the Top Fuel dragsters of the Equine world.

And I'll take my share of the blame for fanning the flames here.Absolutely love a good controversy,and not above starting one! But I apologize,and will abstain from my usual conjecture.

Hey Gnarly, Yes they are the quickest in the quarter mile..however I was a trainer in the pleasure horse side of Quarter horses!

And please do share your usual conjecture here! it wouldnt be you without it!...

my only concern was with making posts with personal wishes and features sound like actual official features and such...I seen that happen on the thread for the 0551 and people were really getting confused..hell I was getting confused! hahaha....Really its not that big a deal....so carry onward!

Did I say though that you guys will really love this design?! ;)

I'll respect your position on this but for the record, I don't really pay attention to a photo or list of specs until it is from a designer's or manufacturer's posting in the thread. I don't pay attention to wait lists until I can see a posting from a dealer. Maybe I'm just cynical.

Rick says collab flipper; I'll buy two. And I won't believe that it is on the way until I open the box at my house.
