Waiting on mine to come back from ZT as well, but I have to give Kershaw props on their customer service.
Prepaid UPS Next Day Air isn't cheap and had the package there in about 15 hours.
Nice perk instead of waiting on standard shipping to get it back to them.
Bet Kershaw CS is very, very concerned that your patience is wearing thin.
Quit yer whinin'....grow up......if need be, we can charge on over to NambyPamby Land, and get you some.
The knife will be there shortly, and hopefully you like it.
We are talking DAYS here, not weeks, and not months.
Best Regards,
STeven Garsson
Thank you for the gay little commercial quote. What a douche.

Ok...here's another:Not nearly enough user pics in this thread, come on people!
Yes it is.Questions to the many people in this thread who received and used this knife already -
After all the hype this knife had , and after all being said , is this knife really THAT good ?
Is it any better than the outstanding ZT 300 ? and if yes , please explain
I know you people waited a lot for this knife and everything , so It would suck to answer no to those questions , but still try being honest with the answer
Yes it is.
Here are some pros in comparison:
-Elmax steel which is third generation PM with more toughness and corrosion resistance than S30V. Also some members like knifenut1013 swears it has better edge retention.
-Price point is less than 030X series(depending where you get it from, but I assume from a dealer).
-Easier to take apart and put together.
-Less weight. Not merely a smaller version of the same knife like the 0350, but a different knife entirely.
-Open back design.
-"Fits like a glove." As another member once commented about Hinderer designed knives, "it feels like someone made the knife just to fit in my hand."
Really, most of the benefits is in the design. If you're looking for space-age materials that blows the 0301 out of the water, look somewhere else. If you want a more streamlined design, this is certainly an improvement.
Kirk, your 0551 left yesterday and is in route. You should see it soon.

I'm unsure if any knife could live up to the anticipation that the 0551 received. After all the hype this knife had , and after all being said , is this knife really THAT good ?
I would imagine time will answer that differently for each person. Is it THAT good...
From my perspective, this was a piece that was built from a drawing to a completed knife in record time. There was no waiting a lot for the 0551.I know you people waited a lot for this knife...
