That knife/pattern is going to be a smashing success.
A new classic is about to be born and I can't wait to get mine!!

Man, Rick could've easily just kept this as a custom and people would be on a several year waiting list for it.
 
The Proto didn't have grooves on the spot where the handle engages the back of the blade. This one does.

Any reason for the change?
 
Mmmmm... perfect placement of pocket clip holes. This is damn near exactly what I was going to attempt to make myself (which would have been an utter disaster I'm sure). Can't wait!
 
The "low-ride" placement of the pocket clip just made this knife one step closer to perfection. Thanks for the pics, Thomas!

Only a short time left before these babies hit the streets, and I can hardly wait.

I was hoping the spacer would be the same as on the prototype. Maybe these spacers are stonger?

I was hoping for a solid backspacer as well, but I guess that will be the 0550, not the 0551. Either way it looks amazing. Thomas, is there any chance we can get a look at the knife with the blade closed? I'd like to see the position of the thumbstuds in relation to the handle.
