Newest ZT0770 variant

I don't want any on off gimmicks...I bet they take into consideration the sales numbers from the kershaw line as well, and probably assume if all the kershaw customers want it the the zt customers want it...and in reality, they are two different customers/demographics
Demographics notwithstanding, KAI has a bias in favor of SpeedSafe and I suspect there's little we can do to change that. I think we're fortunate that the company is willing to produce any KVT models at all.

Still its like chevy saying that the majority of people prefer the cavalier and cobalt to a corvette due to those models outselling the corvette by a wide margin. It sure couldnt have anything to do with the fact that the cheapest vette is 4 times the price and about a 1/3 of them made. I admit we are lucky they make KVT models period. But its a goofy excuse as to why they dont make more.

Ya..... I'm sure that you are correct, KAI/ZT/Shun has no idea about marketing and business.

Picked up the 0770M4 at KnivesShipFree today and had a couple blades touched up while I was there. Kinda small compared to what I normally carry but im gonna give it a shot in my rotation and see how it goes.

Got mine in today but no chance to take a pic yet. Will try to take a side-by-side with the Elmax 0770CF so that folks can see how much nicer this one looks.

Very, very nice knife. Love the CF pattern and the DLC blade looks great with that material. Nice job as always Derrick. Many thanks! I'm a happy camper today. :D

Damn, that sure is pretty. The 0770 is such a great size for EDC, and the DLC blade just gives it a totally different attitude.

were to be damaged and require replacement down the road,
would a replacement be available...since it's a dealer exclusive?

Since I have experience now with the 0770, I'll definitely be getting one of these down the line. I'm a huge sucker for DLC coated blades and an even bigger sucker for DLC coated blades with carbon fiber handles.

I just picked up a 0770CF yesterday. I had a 0801 in my pocket, but immediately fell in love with the size, weight, thickness, and overall feel of the 0770. Add me to the list of guys that would love to see this knife with bearings and no AO. I'd be all over that.

Honestly, deassisted, my 0770cf runs smoother than any bearing-operated knife I've handled personally. It's incredible.

Is this limited or exclusive. If it's a exclusive and they are going to have more later on I can wait . The knife looks sweet .

My 0770cf is not even in the same neighborhood as my 0801bw when talking about smoothness and action...not even close

I've never handled an 801 personally, but I definitely plan on getting one, if only to test out the hype for myself.

Zero Tolerance 0770CFM4 is a KnivesShipFree dealer exclusive limited edition. It's a 500 piece run and they've sold about 70 so far.
