NEWS FLASH! - HOLD THE PRESS we have a second winner!

Wow! Incredible. I don't own any of Todd's work (or any custom slipjoints for that matter), but have definitely admired his work. The generosity of people on this forum never cease to amaze me, especially those in with an affinity for the traditionals. That said, I'll post a photo of my recently acquired Northwoods Fremont passed on to me by another member of this forum, Todd Isa 53. Todd didn't want to part with this Fremont, but was nice enough to do so, simply because I asked. Bladeforums rocks!!

I would like to try for this very special knife. Don't own any customs, but have been admiring Todd's work for a long time. I also love my family and it's a big un'. Eight grown children, most married, and seven grandchildren so far. My nicest knife is probably the 2014 Forum Knife. Never seem to have time to post pictures. Gotta change that.

That is one beautiful knife. Love the drilled Micarta. Thanks so much for the shot at one of Todd's amazing knives.

Thanks for the giveaway. I'm in. This was the sunset seen from my front porch a few weeks ago:

Wow. My nerves are abuzz at the thought of possibly owning that knife. It would bowl me over! This is just amazing generosity and hats off to both of you.

My story about Todd:

One day, not too long ago, I decided to research custom folding knives and find my "ultimate" maker. I came across some very impressive stuff along the way and then I came to the website of knifemaker Todd Davison. My search had ended as my jaw did the proverbial drop. I could not believe what I was looking at: The most gorgeous slipjoints that my eyes had ever seen. I decided that here I am; looking at the pinnacle of custom slipjoint knifemaking.

...Anyway, I took a little break from the internet and when I came back I logged onto BladeFourms. What did I see at the very top of the recent posts list? "TODD DAVISON - KNIFE FOR SALE"

My heart skipped a beat and I clicked on the thread. I'm thinking that this is just too strange! It must be fate and I will somehow own this knife!

Alas, it had already sold. I was, however, thankful for the photographs. I was still able to appreciate the artist/craftsman that is Todd.

(I think I posted on that thread "Mind = Blown!" and commented on how cool Todd looked. He had too much class to acknowledge that yes; "I do look cool!")

Well, that's my story. And it is great to see that Todd is a family man because, in the end, that is all we have that truly matters.

Here is a picture of my Dad's knife from when he was in Boy Scouts (a long, long time ago). It is a "Herters Improved Bowie"

He carried it every day, and the day that he gave it to me was very special.

Thanks so much for the chance to win Todds knife. And thanks for sharing those gorgeous photographs that you shoot of his knives as I eat them up with my eyes and pretend that I own them!

I'm in, Todd's knives are the highlight of my day most times. I get to see his latest creation and still over it. With all the things going on in my life lately I'm thankful for the friends I've made here in the last 15 years, I've met some great people and like many cried when we lost some of those same friends here.

I'm thankful for the fact that my wife's neck surgery went well and she's healing well. I'm thankful for all the prayers from this community for my wife and her sister.

BFC and it's members rock people like you make this the greatest knife site on the web but beyond that the camaraderie and compassionate membership in this community is mind boggling. Let's not forget the various wack packs that proliferate BFC, you folks keep it interesting and entertaining. Thank you all and thanks for the generous giveaway.

This is an amazing GAW. I'd be honored to enter. And you are correct - this is the greatest place!

Here are two of my favorite things - never knew I could love someone this much!

And here is one of my favorite knives.

I don't deserve this knife......I need this knife......need a small edc that won't wear a hole in my shorts or Wranglers!

Todd made my first custom order slipjoint, this sweet wharncliffe with stabilized mammoth bark and acid etched blade. Todd makes a great slipjoint, you can count on the blade being centered and superior fit / finish.

I'd love to be included in this giveaway. I've never owned a custom knife, but have often admired Mr. Davison's work. My family's on vacation at the ocean, and yesterday we got up and went out on the sand to watch the sun rise over the water.

I'd like to enter but I wont as it would be selfish. I've been lucky with knives lately and somebody else deserves a turn too.
Very interesting and rewarding GAW.

Regards, Will

What a gorgeous knife, it would be my first custom and regardless of who owns it, will be the subject of my admiration.

Here's a picture of a very old knife that's special to me, because it has my last name on the tang stamp.

Thanks for the opportunity to be "considered" for a magnificent custom knife! And I'm enjoying the "theme" of the GAW, reading about folks' favorite things.
Here's a picture of one of our dogs (love 'em) looking forlorn at the thought of my wife (love her) leaving for Spain to visit our daughter (love her).

This is my favorite knife. My wife bought it for me when I retired from the Navy.
I would love the opportunity to be considered for the knife made by Todd...plus I love a stiff opening knife. Thanks for the chance.

Put me in please and thank you!

Here's a random pic of something cool:

I got a bit cocky on the shooting range and was going to shoot a smiley face into a target, after the first three the guy next to me said "oooooohhhh nooooooo" in a Mr. Bill voice and we got to laughing so hard I decided it was perfect the way it was.
