NFA and Newgraham

BalisEdge, that's great if Benchmade has recently changed their policy and is now shipping BaliSong knives to Canada. At the time of our business they were not.
 
Customer Service at Benchmade Knives, Inc. informed me today 6/3/2002 that they are still NOT shipping BaliSong knives to Canada. They recently shipped a large order of Benchmade BaliSongs to a Canadian customer. Canadian Customs denied importation and returned all of the BaliSong knives to Benchmade. Benchmade incurred significant return shipping charges and fees because of Canadian Customs denial of the importation.

NFA, that's interesting to hear. I contacted the seller and they have been sent back to Benchmade. According to him, the shipment was stopped at customs because the folders were too loose and needed to be shipped back for tightening. The balisongs, however, were sent back with the shipment and not separated from the order. The Canadian seller has informed me that he is working out a deal with Benchmade Knife Company and is asking that the bali's are shipped serparately to prevent this from happening again. He should receive them in about 1-2 weeks if all goes well. I'll keep everyone posted.
