I stand corrected. Saw the title of the email they sent had "Drift in stock", then I quickly tossed it in the trash...lolMore Available tomorrow I believe.
Haha I did the same. Clicked the link and got annoyed they had sold out alreadyI stand corrected. Saw the title of the email they sent had "Drift in stock", then I quickly tossed it in the trash...lol
Interesting to hear. There are reports of heads breaking off the screws as well with Quiet Carry. The bad hardware problems plus them keeping the county of origin secret so long kind of felt shady and really made me surprised by the hype. I'm interested in trying Vanax but am waiting on some long term reviews or to see if more companies will put out knives with it instead. My one experience with Quiet Carry has been disappointing. I bought the Strand when he was just getting started as a Kickstarter. The D2 blade developed rust spots IN ARIZONA and the hardware was soft and stripped out with light use. Apparently they’ve raised their game lately.
I’ve been looking at the Tactile Rockwall for a while and when I saw they had a version with thumb studs, I had to grab one. I’ll post my first impressions.
No question absolutely.
Ditto, for me probably the plague doctor though, so excited to finally get that design when they re released!!!No question absolutely.
They do such good work on those engravings!!
A third vote for the Spartan. No question absolutely.
I'm surprised the Bexar took the win. . . .
The trend for him seems to be smaller, slimmer, and simpler knives each year, next year my guess is knife of the year will just be an X-Acto knifeI was too.
Tiny knife w/no clip that can only be carried w/a lanyard if you want to be able to easily pull it out of your pocket. Not much knife for $199 even if it's being offered w/a MagnaCut blade and it bugged me that they wanted $40 more for a bead to use to attach a lanyard cord to it.
PS: While I sometimes find Nick's "reviews" of interest, as I do others, I often do not agree w/his assessments (nor with others) of the quality/value of a knife. This is just another instance of that for me.
