The bad hardware problems plus them keeping the county of origin secret so long kind of felt shady and really made me surprised by the hype.
The country of origin thing bugged me for a while with some companies until I realized just how many knife companies do that these days. I mean, at the end of the day where a knife comes from is of far less interest to me than a brand that can stand by their products. If the parts and manufacturing are sourced from different places and subject to change, I can see why they wouldn’t want to claim a specific origin until they have their own factory up and running (Which isn’t as likely as it used to be). All that to say, I have nothing but good things to say about the three Quiet Carry’s I own. So far at least they have been beautiful and functionally well made. I’ve also heard their customer service is good, but I haven’t dealt with that personally aside with a few friendly messages on Instagram.
