So I really didn't want to do this but the user nightstalker1975 may be a scammer.

February 1 2016
We made a trade agreement to trade my duane dwyer custom SMF for his chaves 228 , 325 and keybar insert. Since I didnt have feedback I agreed to send first. Conversation between email were amicable and clear and fast.

I send the package out and send him tracking. He tells me his wife also sent the package and will send me tracking once he gets home.

That is the tracking number.
After today he stops respondimg to me. He never sends the tracking.

Knife is delivered to him. And I still don't have a tracking.

I leave a comment on his instagram and he tells me that his has no control over what usps does. But still does not give me the tracking. He says he'll try and figure it out with usps. And if he can't then he will send my knife back.

Still not respondimg to me I find out that he's me a trade agreement with the user undefeatable for his gavko. I contact undefeatable and he tells me that the transaction finalized om Feb 9th. The day after nightstalker1975 got my knife.


So that's where I'm at. He assured me he was a stand up guy and he assured me he was going to help. Now he's traded my knife and I have nothing.

What do I do from here?

Also. How do I tagged them in this post?

Scammed McBokerson and myself out of our knives using the same knife at the same time with the same excuses. He will offer you a knife and never send it out.

That last email was sent to me February 1st. I tried five times to get a hold of him until February 13th, which is when I stopped emailing him. Now I sit here.

He's still doing trades and still active on BF. All I want is the transaction to be complete and I'd be happy. After that I that I can walk away happy from this shitty situation. If you haven't shipped it all I'm asking is that you ship the knives we agreed to.

I can't say of the guy is a scammer or not as I've not transacted with him. That said, he has an annoying tendency to post trade offers in threads and then spam the entire trade forum. To me, this is a noob move that may be indicative of someone who is immature. It's also the reason I've not traded with him.

That said, I'd suggest you send him a link to this thread and politely explain that his personal info would be posted next. If you get no joy I am sure the postal inspectors would be interested to hear about this.
 
Not that it matters a ton since you are both members here, but did this trade take place here or on IG?

Edit that, no contact info.

You will have to ask a Mod to do it, but I can kinda see how this is gonna end.

^ I sent him a link via Visitor's Message, an hour and a half ago...& he's been online. RevDevil also sent him a message (before this GBU thread was started), basically telling him that he needed to follow through & communicate with the OP.

FYI- Nightstalker, has only been a member here for 2 weeks. It's not looking very good for him at this point; hopefully he'll chime in here & have an reasonable explanation...

I'll try that. He didn't seem immature I'm our correspondences. He's married and has a son. Because he is a father and husband was one of the biggest factors that led me to believe he was a good dude. But I'll send him a link rn.

It started here and then it went to email. I only went to instagram just to get his attention.

He joined in January of 2015, so he's been a member for a little over a year.

EDIT: It appears that he also just made a trade with another member, just a couple of days ago. I sent a BF member, Undefeatable an email, making him aware of this thread...

Just in case this guy does indeed, turn out to be a scammer

I don't mean to get ahead of where this thread is at, but man I hate trades......

There's no recourse, there's no PP, there's just the word of two people, and not everyone know's what your "word" means....
