Nightstalker1975 James Jim Hurrey Scammer

In an email he said he shipped the same morning I shipped. So when I checked the tracking on the knife I sent him and it was delivered. So I was excited because I thought his knives would habe arrived the same day too.

There was no deal completed so that's not really your propery to trade.

I was unaware of the deal going on between Mappetizer and Nightstalker until after my knife was shipped out. After being contacted by Mappetizer about this issue, he was concerned about his deal going on. Thats when I started my communication with Mappetizer.

I was not implying that you have done anything wrong here. You clearly have not.

It was directed at the a$$hole who traded a knife that wasn't even his yet.....

It's his when the other party gets their knife(s) and is happy. (Neither has happened)
That's not just a forum rule, it's a general rule.
 
Here's how I see it:

The sender is responsible for making sure the package arrives, unless there is a prior agreement. Until both packages arrive the trade isn't complete. Nightstalker1975 erred badly by trading away a knife which wasn't his. If the OP doesn't receive what's due to him, he is owed money equating to the full replacement value of the knife he lost. Or if it can be done, all trades are reversed and Nightstalker1975 can get his stuff if it ever shows up.

If people can't take responsibility for their actions they shouldn't play with the grown ups.

Yes. I sent you that message, prior to, Undefeatable, commenting that their trade was in fact complete. My thinking was, that if his knife hadn't been delivered, he could take the necessary precautions, until everything here was resolved. This thread has gotten so convoluted, I can imagine the different timelines, were confusing.

To the OP: I really hope that this works out, & that your knife indeed shows up. Regardless- the fact that Nightstalker, didn't provide you a tracking number, already traded YOUR knife, & then had the audacity to comment here in this thread, & tell you, quote: "F--- You", flushed any shred of credibility he may of had, right down the toilet! :thumbdn:
 
This sounds a lot like the same guy that was scamming people out of knives a little while back. (Fingerblade, Keith....something....). He surfaces a few times with different screen names and was doing the same thing.

Sounds EXACTLY the same. "Oh my wife mailed it and lost the tracking". BS.

I also do not trade unless I personally know the person on the other end of the deal.
 
Kelma, my knife i sent to him has not reached nightstalker yet. Just checked online and it looks like i can intercept the package. I sent an email to nightstalker letting him know that he needs to provide a tracking # or i will intercept the package back to me.

If he doesnt provide tracking (nightstalker) and i get my knife back to me. I offered to pay Mappetizer full value of the SMF so he could purchase the stuff he wanted and tried to trade for. Im going to make sure Mappetizer is taken care of even if it comes out of my own pocket. My reputation on this forum and my reputation period is worth more to me than the $1000 the SMF is worth.
 
Now this is how things should go. What a stand up thing you are offering.

I think nitestalker has 1 hour to produce the tracking before his package is intercepted.

I let nightstalker know that it needs to be sent tonight. Im only giving him a little bit of time because i want to make sure the package is still available for intercept.

If I intercept the knife and Mappetizer receives his end of the trade with nightstalker, then i will express the knife back to nightstalker on my dime.

I'm so greatful for this. I'm not gonna lie I'm tearing up a bit. Times have been super stressful for me and you guys have been really amazing. You don't understand how relieved I am to have ppl really trying to help me out. Thank you so much

A mail intercept sounds like a good idea. Could be a good way of making sure that nobody who did the right thing is out of pocket.

Now, don't be surprised...the package intercept isn't free. USPS does charge for that....of course.
 
I don't mean to sound evil, but you should intercept the knife you sent the guy who'll be walking the plank later and only send it when the OP has what he agreed to in hand.

Tracking numbers can be empty boxes.

Again, This is superhero stuff, and what you are doing is admirable to say the least, but aside from this, you owe the OP no financial obligation....this is more than enough.
