No Bucks in WalMart?

Was going to stop by WalMart on the way home and see what their price was on a 110. Decided to try their website first and found not a single Buck listed for "in store" sales! I'm sure I've read threads regarding Buck sales at Walmart in the past. Did they stop selling Bucks? Did I remember those threads wrong?

Probably should, walmart doesnt really give products on their shelves a good name.

The website says they sell the 110 online but not in stores. Link. And the online price is $49.99. I know that they either used to, or still do sell the 110 for $29.99 in stores. I've bought them there for $29.99. Comes in a clamshell, with nylon sheath. Not sure what the deal is.

I know you can still get the 110 w/Nylon sheath for 29.99. Just gotta know where to look.

Thanks. I called the one near my house and they still carry them, $28.89 but are currently out of stock. I've got a $25 gift card burning a hole in my wallet so I guess I'll just check and see when they get some more in. A Buck 110 for $3.89+tax seems like a killer deal.

I was just at Walmart last week and there were Buck 110s just as you described.

The Walmart about two miles from me here in California still has the 110 and 119. They also have others but I don't remember which ones.

I just went to Walmart on-line and out of the 790+ listings under the search of "knives" only 9 of the items were Buck's. I did see the 110, 119, and was very surprised to see the Vantage Pro.

In the Wally store in my town they have the 110 & 119 and a few slippy versions. Each of the stores in the neighboring towns seem to carry a slightly different selection. It pays to look around.

I was in one here in the Pittsburgh area on Tuesday. They still have a few but the selection is dwindling. As I remember, it was 110 for $28.97:thumbup:, 119 around 40:), omni 10pt for 35, 371 for 20, and I believe the dueuce, price unknown. They used to have Bantams, several other china slippies and more about a year ago:(. All the space is being filled by $7-15 remingtons.:barf:

I have to ask where bodydamage got my Buck 110 from $29, it was Walmart for sure though.

Just to be a mouthpiece of what was said, during Blade Show BCCI meeting CJ said that they had reduced there business with Walmart.....

I wasn't taking notes so I don't feel I can rightly comment more, BUT I thought those on this thread would want to know.

To models of lockback knives left there overseas homes and are now made in the Idaho factory...FYI

Need to come to some of the activities of the BCCI if you are able. You can actually stand and talk to CJ, Mr.Chuck and Joe H. Plus a bunch more.

Let me remind folks that there is a big BCCI event coming up at SMKWs in Tenn. on Aug 5- 7. Get the details from the BCCI website. There is going to be a lot of great information seminars, trading times and heavy knife talk......food also.

I've heard another explanation for the lack of Bucks on WalMart shelves. Now this could be a geographical oddity peculiar to this neck of the woods, but, it has been said that knife hogs (snort, snuffle, etc) have rooted up all the bucks from certain WMs. Could be true, or not, how would I know, probably just urban legend, yea, that's it. You could hardly blame me. And, why would you?

We wil have 9 models in there this year. Only 5 were in there last year. None are the vantage pro.

110 and 119 are still there, probably just dry from father's day....

I got this one at Wally World about a month ago.I stood in front of the counter 5 minutes until the 2 supervisors talking behind the counter finally asked me if I needed something.I said yes,I'm here to purchase a Buck 110.This Wally keeps them locked up behind the counter and it came in a box.If you have a Sports Academy store near by they have a better selection, better prices and much better service. Here's some poor photo's of a great knife! The next time I"m near a S.A. store it's Buck season!:D
