No more "Idaho Made"??

The stamp does not bother me at all. Those that are bothered by it, duct tape works pretty good. :D

I just bought my first CRKs a few weeks ago, and love them! I managed to find a new Large and Small Sebenza, and a like new Umnumzaan, all without the stamp. I much prefer the clean, uncluttered look without it.

I really don't mind the "Idaho Made" concept, but hopefully, a new stamp can be designed that compliments, rather than detracts from, the elegant look of these fine cutting tools. Until then, I'll likely be buying no-stamp knives whenever possible.

Thank goodness the Mnandi was spared.

I love the Idaho made stamp. It speaks of an older time when states were more separated from each other, and when tools were made by hand at the blacksmith's.

I hope the stamp stays the same lettering because then I won't have another variation to chase down, "old stamp", "new stamp", "no stamp" it would just be too much :D

I thought I would HATE the "IDAHO MADE" machining. My newest Seb, a Sm 21, DOB 5/24/2011 has it and I actually don't mind it at all.

I've bought two of the non-stamped and now have two of the stamped folders. Maybe it's my eyes, or the fact that I'm a right hander and never look at my hand and see it.

I never even think of it, but when it comes up and I look them over good, they aren't that big of a font - like someone mentioned.

Not a big deal or more appropriately, a "non-issue" to me and I'm the pickiest sob I know. :D
