No More Jaxurman Goods!

...when the main complaint against you is the sheer volume of good posts about your deals.Good work Jack!It is nice to see someone who takes great pride,and works hard to maintain a good reputation.There is no way I can look at that as a bad thing.One of these days,I want to do a deal with Jack.When I do,and the deal goes off smoothly(I know it will because everyone else's did),I am going to run in to the GBU forum and give props to the guy.
I do like the idea of one Jaxurman thread.That would really be something,wouldn't it?I bet it would be 50 pages long.

No doubt jax is honest. I would say thats easy to tell from the sheer number of posts that he asks to be put up for him.

I seriously would like him to answer a question though. Jax, why is it you dont post about the other party first? Do you feel that you deserve it more, and they are not as deserving? Do all these folks you trade with not do quite good enough to cause you to post first? I just think it would be polite of you to come in here and say what a good guy one of the people you trade with is. Seriously, whats the deal with that? Is it because they are to decent to ask you to post or what?
 
OHIO!!!!!:D not that at all no i am not better than those i deal with i just have a bigger ego !!!!;) if you would bother to look i always reply to those post always singing praise about that person as well remember the monster on gbu also known as JAXURMAN was created by one of the "usual suspects " seems as though this ungreatfull individual tried to discredit me when i came aboard last may you see guys although i may have been new to bladeforums i was no stranger to the world of hi $$ custom knives !!! in fact at one time NOBODY had more way wicked cool emersons i had the rare and one of a kind !!! so i dont take lightly to "naysayers " that should know better those that are in the know are aware that i can "walk the walk and talk the talk !!!" living well is the best revenge ;) or as i put it "living large , like "charles in charge" !!!! hope this helps richard answer your question ;) JAXURMAN :p

With that thought in mind...if we could just get a single thread for all jax GB&U feedback, well hell, that would be just about the best idea I've heard all week... :D

as another forumite suggested actually i think it might have been a moderator suggested renaming the thread to "the jack , the bad, and the ugly" !!!! or as someone above suggested me having a permanent "jaxurman the good post" what a wonderful tribute to be immortalized on " bladforums " i love it !!! thanx guys ;) JAXURMAN :p HEY SHELDON , post up a link to that thread where you say i am not illiterate just cause i diont use a spellcker if ya can thanx

Now look Jack, I don't want to feed your already HUGE ego, and I don't want to be your champion either...

In my opinion, you're a good guy, you have nice knives, and you'll work with people to help them get what they want...

That being said, I think you're pretty darn 'one way', and I think that's a total BS attitude on your part.

You don't ALWAYS have to win Jack, you don't ALWAYS have to be first, and you don't ALWAYS have to be such a prick...

You're a better man than that, and we both know it...I think that's probably the only thing about you that really pisses me off.

You have so much, so very much, that you could give back to this hobby, if you'd only stop being so damn selfish.

You want praise and acceptance Jack? You want to be seen as one of the good guys? Well, if you'd only give back AS MUCH as you take, you'd be all those things...and then some.

It isn't all about you jax, it's about us...all of us here. Think about it friend...you have a lot to give, quite a bit in fact.

This post has been edited to eliminate a slam on Maximo. After thinking about it, it just wasn't worth saying. As for Jax, I'm glad he is such a solid guy. I have not traded with him yet,but would do so without hesitation. There is something to be said for adding one's positive comments to an existing current thread instead of starting a new one every time. It saves bandwidth and keeps positive comments about other people on the first page longer since there is less scrolldown. FWIW,

Yep, a real trend developing here hardheart.

As much as I think Jack is without a doubt a very honest guy to trade with or buy from, I do think that an occasional reminder that he walks on water would suffice. There are times when half the threads here are about Jack being such a great guy to deal with.

Jack, it would be nice of you to post about the good fellas that you deal with before they post about you. It would show some repect. The fact that you answer these posts is great, but I wonder if these others were not posting here first, if you would ever have anything good to say about the deals you do.

Another thing that has always really bothered me about Jack is that he does not share his knowledge of knives with the rest of us. I think I once read a post by Jack in which he stated that he will start to take part in the other forums if and when he feels like it, and that he does not like people thinking they can pressure him into doing something. It just seems to me that Jack likes to take what he wants from Bladeforums, but doesn't think he owes anything back. If that is the way he wants to do things, that is all right, but he should stop his I am the greatest routine and realise that around here he is just a guy that trades, buys and sells knives.

There was a time that I felt I could learn something positive from you, but it looks like I was wrong.

You've tried to come across as a knowledgable 'knife person', whereas now you seem to be more of a 'whatever sells, TV's or toasters' kind of guy.

You have knives, and you trade and sell them for a profit, not for the 'love of knives'; but more for the thrill of the chase, and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

There are knife enthusiasts here, people that love knives for what they are, knives.

Regardless of their financial situation, or number of knives in their collection, they love knives.

You embarrass me Jack. Simply put, you are an ass.

KWM and others, myself included, have asked you to give back a little, but you continue to miss the point. It has now become apparent to me that you have nothing to give back to our hobby, that you're in this for yourself, and no one but yourself.

As such, I find myself at an ethical crossroad, and feel that I can no longer support you.

You're on your own now Jack, and I intend to be markedly 'short' with you in the future.

It's a shame Jack, you had so much to offer, and yet offered nothing.

p.s. I've never begged or pleaded for anything in my life Jack, and you have sorely misjudged me.

I'll have to 2nd Tom's statement at this point ... how did we wind up here?

I just think goods should be done without being asked to by the selling party. It makes the whole process seem a little dirty at that point.
 
hmmmm i just read in an earlier post in the beginning where he says i have helped many he is correct on that in fact he says i helped him 6x did that too hey guys and girls it pisses me off when people that dont even know me say i dont like knives thats crap as tom petty says in song " i wont back down " got that right i am the same guy i was before during and after any post written about me period all of my feedback on gbu is ALL POSITIVE ABOUT MY DEALS -100% i am proud of this fanatical yes i pride myself on doing it right !!! on the rare occasion i screw up i am going to make it right no one here has to say they like me i cant make anyone say that but i do things the right way i pride myself on making sure the person feels good when they have dealt with me if they didnt think they would say the good stuff about me ??? i think not i did nothing to sheldon but remind him about the things i did for him i did not need to sell him any of these knives go and look at his previous post unless he edits them he of all people have no bitch with me like all on here that have dealt with me i have followed thru on my promises with this said i hope those reading this might understand me a bit clearer im not the bad guy some people would like you to believe 10 months ago i came on this forum intending like everyone else to do honorable knife deals as i mentioned before , one of the "usual suspects" tried to put a bad jacket on me my first deal was with sniper 308 in mid may 01 he then proceeded to post that the naysayers were wrong about me they were wrong very wrong indeed since then ive done hundreds of trades all of them ending in satisfaction for both buyer and seller or trader and tradee i was not put here on earth for everyone to like me but an honorable man i am in my dealings many of those on bladforums know that i have shared my knowledge for the asking even making long distance calls on my dime any monies made on bladeforums more often then not is respent on these forums i really am not the "badguy " here i love knives like everyone else but have no time for people who only want to waste my time as they attack me without reason forcing me to defend my honor and reputation which is as my dealings are here on bladeforums honest and forthright thanx :) JAXURMAN
