No offense.......but I'm bored

I just got this Black Bear Knives Trapper. It has some of the gnarliest, popcorniest stag I have ever seen.
Oh yeah, its a linerlock. I hope the slipjoint nobility doesn't tie me to the mast for 40 lashes...

I've been admiring those Black Bears. Is that a chisel grind? The bevel on the pile side looks really broad compared to the mark. Maybe light trick?

The ruler knife is pretty cool...now it's time to welcome the "dolphin" and "whale" knives...

Here are a couple of interesting ones that I own. First up is a Boker lockback designed by Jerry Fisk, in a Nessmuk style: The Fiskmuk.
440 C stainless and stag, 4" closed. This one takes a real nice edge.

The second one is a David Lisch creation, forged from 5160: The Shoprat.
Overall length is 7-1/2", with a 3-5/8" edge. Super sharp.

An indicator of Dave's sense of humor is the detailed "sphincter" he added below the tail!

Meet "Dittmar", he's the only one with a name.

I know, nobody likes old elephant handled knives, but i feel it's my duty to keep Campbell bored up.

Awesome group Rowland.

Thanks for posting those stunners.

Gotta love the mop (R)ambo. :D

Jeff,

I tried to do that type of "sphincter" knife on an anvil a few years ago (without the sphincter option). Must of hammered on the W-2 for at least a couple of hours. For some reason mine did not come out near that nice. :D.

It now belongs to a good maker friend of mine, it used to be in his shop, but I am not sure anymore. My version may have made him sick every time he looked at it. :)

Definitely NOT boring, Quattromori - Gratie Mille!

Nice collection, Roland! (except the RR - ho-hum).

I wonder how many people are wearing out Google trying to find that RR prototype?

If all that unbelieveable stag, ivory and blade selection doesn't end the boredom, you're dead! Thank you, Roland.

What's the stock # on that new RR? Maybe they'll make it in carbon steel!?! :D
