Made a mask for it and three more coats of linseed oil. I'm calling my axe project finished. It's ready to ride the river.

Man oh man, you did a nice job on that. :thumbup:

Wow Trade, that is one very nice axe... From the head shape down to the handle it really looks great. I also love that you are going to put it to work. Very very cool.

I used to live in an apartment complex with some seriously inconsiderate people that would blare their rap music or Hispanics that would play whatever that stuff is they listen to. I was out working on my truck one time and someone else was doing something and they had their stereo way up so I thought two could play at that game. I put on some Metallica and cranked it up. I don't have a decent system in my rig but it was enough to make my point. I guess when a some big dude is working on an old 4x4 plastered with gun and patriotic stickers, people become very intuitive to the hints he's dropping.

Made the rounds of the gun stores again this week. Looked at a nice NEF .410 for a reasonable price. Thing is they're made on the same frames as the 12's and 20's so the chamber area is very thick to make the barrel fit. This makes it kinda heavy for a .410 so I'm not keen on the NEF .410's. The Rossi guns don't seem to be as well made but they're good enough and so much lighter.

But enough about guns I didn't buy. Take a look at what I did get.

Tompson Center Contender in .44 mag. $400 plus tax. I already have a S&W 629 with a 5" barrel so I might sell this barrel. Maybe get a longer .44 mag for target shooting/ hunting. A .45/410 for the heck of it, .22lr and a bunch of others. I'm gonna have fun with this one.

:eek::eek::eek: AWESOME :eek::eek::eek:

I've seen stuff like this before. I remember a few years back, there was a college that developed some contact lenses, that gave you a heads up display. They were gonna use them for the military, of course. That way, you could communicate to a soldier by sending the info into the HUD.
