Its just some dude on the history channel... I paused the TV and he was in this pose... and all I could think of was someone who constantly interjects... The kind of person that no matter what you say they go "ACTUALLY..." and then insert some sort of useless tidbit to make themselves seem smarter...
Once it was uploaded to photobucket all I could think of was SNARK! lol
There... useless story complete.![]()
That completely explains my personality, good job sir!
I guess I really am immature...just sayin'
That was totally sarcasm...apologies...my humor doesn't translate well via text.
I'm not that easily offended, promise.
SNARK
It's not real dramatic, but I ground it down to the line I drew. I'm also going to put a slight swedge on it, and that's the part that I'm concerned about getting to look right.

holy smokes this guy won't quit!!
just my 2 cents... if a "well known knife maker"is so worried about a sheath maker making knives... I think someone is getting worried about something....
Manopause...

Where do you live?Ok so I have been moonlighting at a hardware store and last night I had a maybe 13 year old kid come in with his dad, look around, then ask to check out. The boy then stated he needed one of the Leathermans to purchase. While the boy was paying he started saying things like, collection, and other knife nut buzz words, and then as he was counting his money he said he just spent most of his cash on a very expensive knife. I asked him what did he buy. He told me an Esee 5. So I just smiled and rambled off all the specs I could remember about it and the kid got flabbergasted. I just laughed and then when I gave him his change I told him to start saving up for a KA-BAR Becker, then told him they are better than Esees anyways... Just to razz him a bit... LOL his face was priceless, you could tell I'd hit nerve... On a side note his dad looked 100% completely lost the whole time HAHAHA!
I always wondered if I would like the larger ESEE's, because of the flat handles, but I do love the looks of the 6.I like the way this ESEE 6 feels. I think it's one of their better blade designs.
Take it all in stride JD or you will drive yourself insane. Welcome to the world of knifemaking. Hell, maybe he's threatened by you because some of his customers are coming your way. If that's the case, take that as a compliment. I know I never really intended on this "knife thing" of mine to take off like it did but what took me a while to figure out is despite your best efforts you will never make everyone happy. At least that guy isn't into you for money. If you haven't all ready. Wait till you get some fool that orders a high price piece, then backs out on the order, THEN trash talks you to people on this forum because you wont do them any favors AFTER you sent them some free sh!t to try to be respectful and bury the hatchet. You think your pissed now! Lol. Just be thankfull that you got some good reputable peoples support. Because if it wasn't for that with me, Id have a hard time some days not throwing a lite match in my shop and walking away.
