I had one of my first experiences with gluten free pasta today. (My sister has been diagnosed with Celiac disease.) This is what I've deduced though, gluten free pasta SUCKS!!!

It's a LOT easier to cook for just my sister and I than for my parent's too. My sister is a fan of steak, bacon, sausage, basically the same thing as me. My parents are all "we need more vegetables, I can't eat meat every meal, we only eat beef once a week, we eat turkey and chicken and fish here"My wife is allergic to wheat gluten and we've looked for anything that we can both eat and enjoy. We haven't had much success with that but we haven't given up.
Haven't had it. What do you think of it?
Can anyone else feel the "biscuit" hovering? His presence is actually palpable..like a disturbance in the force...

This was the Barilla penne. Even when cooked "according to the directions" it was tough. It didn't have the "al dente" bite. It wasn't overcooked, it just, failed.CBear-thanks for the heads up. I'll try to hang in there.
