Yah Spark has a thread out explaining that he is playing around with the ads trying to get things right. He said they would be up for everyone until he gets it figured out how he wants it. So paid members will see it for now, it will change later. However, I need to upgrade mine cause I am tired of accidentally clicking on stuff lol!
 
My Ad Blocker Plus still stops them. I haven't seen any at all.

That was pretty disturbing. Something about a scrawny tattooed meth-head-lookin' chick devouring that much bloody flesh that fast makes me want to back away slowly with my hand on my knife...

Anyway, no, I wouldn't even try. A buddy and I tried to eat a 5# pizza by ourselves once back in college, and about halfway through we realized... "This is stupid. We're not even enjoying it. In fact, this kinda sucks." That was the end of my competitive eating career :p

I feel about the same way regarding superhot peppers and sauces... I just don't get it. To each their own, though.

No, but my wife got me hooked on Game of Thrones. I'll probably finish the 1st season tonight. Don't tell me what happens! :D

that's funny because I saw the first Hobbit movie and got the book for my kindle reader and after I finished it I got the Lord of the Rings too and read them.. tried to find some other old school fantasy epics, but couldn't find any in the Kindle store.. The Belgariad series, Shannara series, Rift War saga.. none of them are on kindle yet.

I knew I liked you Lee. Dont forget Tarzan, and A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs, The Elric books by Michael Moorecock, and Dragon Riders of Pern by Anne Mcaffery, Anything by Terry Pratchet, the Dai San Trillogy by Eric V Lustbader
The Wheel of Time books by Robart Jordan, Of course DUNE and all the associated books, oh and White Ring Bearer and all the follow ups.
 
Haven't read the Elric books in 20 years or more, may need to dig those up.. read a few of the Pern and couldn't get into the rest.. Burroughs is awesome! Didn't get into the Wheels of time books, but I have all the Dune, old and new in hardback.. I haven't heard of the White Ring Bearer before, who wrote it? Have not read any Terry Pratchet before, but I have been wanting to read The Long Earth and the other books in that series because Stephen Baxter is one of my absolute favorites..

Its moved me in and out of 4 different homes, its safely gotten me all over this state and many more. Its carted my kids around, my wife, and other precious cargo. I had never wrecked it, backed into anyone, had to put it in a shop, or even been pulled over in it. Sure it had its quirks like any old truck but selling it felt like letting someone else take your girlfriend out for a ride LOL. I know its just a damn truck, but that old red radio flyer truck and I had been through a lot. I think I am just a little too sentimental. lol sob story over.
