I had also been wondering to what the 4 would look like with a straight handle. I have to say, its kinda sexy. What stock thickness did you use for them?

This^^^^^ old school photography. This how I learned. Works great. You had to stop the lens down to see the results in the viewfinder before you shot the picture. Those of us that couldn't afford macro lens back then used extension tubes.

I'm just glad someone knows wth I'm talking about! I had a Minolta x-700 I bought for high school graduation and used through the birth of my first daughter 20 years later. You had to know something or you were wasting money on film and developing.....I'll get a DSLR someday, but the mechanics of taking good photos are constant even with a PHD (push here dummy).

3/16 with a full flat. It really penetrates deep yet it is lighter than the BK4.

Those straight 4's (not the jeeps lol) look really good Todd. There is definitely an itch to be scratched building longblades for the standard Becker grips.

Also forgot to mention, on the way home from practice (30-40 minute drive) a deer jumped into the side of the car and put a fair sized dent in it. I told her to turn around and go look for the deer so if it was still alive but dying I could shoot it, so she turned, but it wasn't there. I said we'd have to hit another on the way home to have some dinner but she said that was disgusting.

Orange expired; I think I'll wait to get it back til my shop is up and running again after the move. Gonna be a few months before I'm really able to get back to blade stuff. Congrats on the new place, WW, and glad you're getting out of Philly. Gunshine state should be much better for you. Nice looking straight 4's and tractors and the like. Got a bunch of pics to upload from washington and oregon. Some might even be worth sharing with all of the rest of the reprobates on here...

I almost missed this, welcome back and thank brother, i appreciate it man.... And im crazy excited to get out of here. Id take the Gunshine state over Philly any day..... Now some of PA is beautiful dont get me wrong... But its just not in the city of brotherly hate!!

My wife just got home all shaken up, on the drive home a person in a car, 2 or 3 cars behind my wife, unloaded a gun into the car next to it. It'll be on the local news tonight or tomorrow im sure.

I know sometimes this stuff just sounds made up.... First the murder around the corner from our house, then the shooting right outside my wife's work, then the bullet through our bedroom window, now the shooting on the road... I wish it was made up. This city is horrible.

Had my appointment with the hand specialist again today. 4 weeks since breaking my fingers. I can take my splint off now,that sure feels good. I have to put it back on anytime I do anything that might bump or move it for the next 3 months. My hand is just an ugly mess..ham fisted sum bitch now for sure..Cant open it...Cant even see my knuckles its so swollen still. Doc says it will never be %100 but I will regain most my use of it after about a year.

Cant use my hand at all for 2 months other than my hourly exercises. So screwed! No motorcycles for 3 months! No way I will go that long. Not supposed to be doing any leather work for 2 months either...Nope. Going to give that a try in a few days I think...It Is really nice to wash this frito stinking hand though.
