At first i was going with his High Uinta model, but then i seen the Trinity Drop and just had to change it up!!

Took this photo at the cabin this past weekend. Thought it turned out pretty decent:

Those of you that are baseball fans, Matt holiday, outfielder for the cardinals(best team by the way) is from my home town, we have a bat that he broke during a high school game

Nice photo, just needs a bit more lighting. Natural lighting is always better. Many of my indoor shots of knives, etc, have been close to a window, with the sunlight coming in.

(best team by the way)

This in inaccurate. Statistically it is inaccurate, and as a person that is subjected to "baseball nation" on a daily basis I can tell you that if you root for ANY other team you are ostracized and berated. It's even worse if you happen to have grown up in Chicago.

Thanks.

Yea orchids dont seem to like real bright conditions so where it lives is not real ideal for photos... especially at around 8 o'clock at night LOL.

I thought about putting it under the grow light just for the picture but then the background would have been the ugly basement walls...

How do you do the picture where the background is all blurry but the flower is in so much detail? Gimp? Just a good camera lens, or a certain setting?

I really like how yours turned out like that.

WW, I'm jealous!

Orchids are nice but no reason to be jealous bud, its my wife's anyway.

.... Oh wait, you mean the knife? :D

Man i have wanted one of his knives since i first seen them. Love the shape, hamon, wood choices... Its probably going to be the best looking knife i own. One of the more pricey ones too.... But not unreasonably so either for the amount of beautiful you get HAHA

Statistically they are the best team in the national league.

Plus, most fans are that way when in their home turf
Also being a tigers fan is a recipe for disaster, and we all know what the sox are known for :D

There are several ways to go about it. The easiest way to go about it is to use a set (low) focal length with a spot focus. I like to use a 50mm lens and then adjust the focal point by hand. Such as in this picture

National league does NOT equate all of baseball... Just saying. Oh, and the white sox can suck it!

Nice photo. You really brought out the barkiness in that tree.

You're right, however the national league is the better side of baseball IMO :D

And I do agree, the white sox suck, but I have to give them a little credit, my great grandfather played for them before the scandle
