Just remember you can't beat a dead horse...

Wait... Wut?

I'm not sure this is true. All this talk of horses reminds me of somthing I read long ago next to a US Army copying machine somewhere in the world. You can find many versions on the internet now...

The tribal wisdom of Dakota Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that, when you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.

In modern government and the military, however, a whole range of far more advanced strategies is often employed, such as:
■Buying a stronger whip
■Changing riders
■Threatening the horse with termination
■Appointing a committee to study the horse
■Arranging a visit to other countries to see how others ride a dead horse
■Lowering the standard so that dead horses can be included
■Re-classifying the dead horse as “living impaired”
■Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse
■Harnessing several dead horses together to increase the speed
■Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse’s performance
■Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders improve the dead horse’s performance
■Declaring that, as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and, therefore, contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses
■Re-writing the expected performance requirements for all horses
■Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.

I'm pretty sure that most of us have seen this happen before... :D

I brought this delicious item home from the gathering. Seen it in pictures before, but it's one of those things you pick up and say "Oh my...". Bought it right off his belt.

I'll do a proper review and put it in JT's forum. Mr. Terrio did quite a nice job designing this blade.

Sweet looking knife! Link the review when done!

Nope, not gonna' happen. Still taking my chances with raw oysters though.

LOVE raw oysters. Yumm. Throw a little hot sauce right on top and eat it out the shell... I skip the cracker entirely.

The horses have left the barn. I repeat, the horses have left the barn.

Red team extraction complete, G14-UF71 and detonator in hand and we will meet at the rendezvous point.

Everytime I see that picture I shed a tiny tear... it's like watching your kid get married or graduate college... *sniff*

Sweet looking blade.

Thanks guys. Pictures in no way do this justice. This one you have to hold in your hand. Several people held it and said it felt like it was made specifically for them.

That looks amazing. Congrats Trade.
Nice design JT! I like it!

Well, got my truck stuck today. I guess going down a dirt road after it's rained for two days is not a very good idea. Who'd a thunk it

Nice score, trade. JT said you got it but I don't think I got a chance to check that one out.

I did get to fondle Derek's custom. That little thing is pretty dang spiffy. First blade I have seen with an axial taper.

So many blades, so little time.:D

What's this one now? Tapered Tang? D, are you holding out pix on us, or do I need to peek in another subforum?

Nice pickup Trade! I saw that there, its definitely a beaut!
Not only is he a great guy but yeah, a hell of a craftsman. I enjoyed conversing and handling some of his blades, my sweetie scored this little gem and it stuck to her hip until I stole it from her Monday morning before i left for work and she was still asleep haha!
Thanks James for your generosity!
