Enjoy the Snarkfinger! Just be careful putting it back into the sheath... that swept tip may want to come through the spine side of the sheath... I should have made it a flat sheath with welts on both sides :o ...anyway, that's actually kind of a rare piece, being the first of that design, and the last knife I ever ground out of 440C.

Sounds useful and dirty all at the same time. Once in your life you need to whip it out and be like " have a wiff of my snarkfinger!"

Haha, Snarkfinger! I love it! Good to know its 440C, it'll be great to carry in a kayak. Might be my first kydex job. Where's a good source for kydex? I get mixed reviews from folks getting weird dimensions and scratched up goods so I'm kinda stuck there.
 
In an effort to better serve their customers, the USPS has apparently determined that a package heading south, should first go north two states. I appreciate the lengths they will go to see that a package gets a proper tour of the mid-west. Thanks USPS, you guys have your shit together. :thumbup:

Kydex would be a good choice. Just don't form it tight along the spine with that odd shaped-blade, or you'll never get it back out. Other than that, I know only slightly more about making Kydex sheaths than I do about interplanetary space travel. Others around here can point you in the right direction, though. :thumbup:

Having worked for the USPS briefly, and after sending out who-knows-how-many doodads, I don't even bother looking at tracking info until the day after a package is supposed to be there. And since it nearly always gets there on time or close to it, I seldom look at tracking at all. Like laws and sausages, as long as it gets done, you're usually better off not knowing how.

I once had a package ship from Florida, and go to Michigan before coming back down to me in Virginia.
 
Tell me about it Trade... Only took 3 days to get to Philly from Canada... Then bounced around Philly for 5 days before being delivered. All these zip codes are within 20 miles of my house... Thats skill there!!

I was showing a colleague my 9, and the sheath setup for it. He said he wanted to get one, with the micarta, and the same sheath setup. I told him I'd do some research and email him where he needs to buy from, and who he needs to contact. Well, in doing that I noticed the 9, is a bot more expensive that what I paid for it (a year or so ago). I realize, I hadn't been keeping up with prices on the Beckers. I was floored to see the 9 was just over 100 bucks. I remember I only paid about 78 for mine. What gives? Did something happen to drive the price up, or am I just that out of date?

Check your price again or maybe a different retailer. I just found a sub $90 one.

The prices have been creeping up for while, just like on just about everything else. :(
Searching around, I found them from the low $80s and up.
