I might have to look into that.
Sounds like a blast!
Dr. Dan, huh?...

You really should if you have the chance!! Its one of those things you dont forget!!

And yep he graduated recently with his doctorate. So now all formal inquiries or request should be titled, "Dr. Champion"

:D just kidding about the formal request, but he really did get his doctorate.

Funny you should post this right now....my mom's a diabetic and I just posted a BK2 GAW to raise funds for the Tour de Cure I'll be riding in a couple weekends....

Awesome GAW bud!! Could she use the meter? My wife says everyone probably has one... But nothing wrong with a backup i guess.

Id just feel bad tossing the meter to use the case, and if i keep it thats what would happen.

Because I've sat here trying to write this message for 6 min and don't have anything constructive to say other then 'my spoon is too big.'

I think its time for bed.

I agree, it works really well on smaller knives. Largest I use on it is my BK5, and it required more concentration hehe.

I've looked into that system, I've also considered picking up a Norton India stone

All I have now is a set if hard and soft Arkansas stones and a sharpmaker

WW - If no BH needs it, rather than throw it away, check with the Diabetes Center for Children at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. They probably know of some program in the city that could use it.

Cool thanks. I'll check it out. The one I have is the clampy set up and it was good for a while to learn but I've outgrown it and I'm ready for some stones. I think I'll look into that before moving into money stones heh. Eventually plan on building the Rick? paper wrap half round setup but too much on my plate for the next couple months.

I struggle with the Smith Tri-stones. They slide just enough on my counter top to feel like I'm having to chase it. Maybe I'm pushing too hard????

IBTBS. (In before the Bladite Strikes)
