wow, that's a serious toy.
Do they make a tiller chassis with fixtures to bolt on spinning BK-9's?

well, the scraper box has "shanks" to really do some damage.

don't know if i need a tiller as such for small jobs.

am actually thinking of zip tying a Fiskars brush hook to the ROPS; tool on board.

there's a small storage thingy, room for a small thin knife.

someone has made a Stihl chainsaw scabbard :D

This "video" is mind-numbingly awful, but it's the first one I found and the song itself stands true as a comedy classic. Just open it in another tab and ignore the horrible "animation". In any case, congrats!

I just got some good news!!
I close on the house in Florida next Friday!!!!
Damn... there went my bank account though... But its going to be nice to get down there and already have a place set up!!

Out. Freaking. Standing! I'm very happy for you, brother. I'm glad to see you and your wife and kids getting out of that city neighborhood where you obviously just weren't comfortable. It takes HUGE brass balls/ovaries and a boat-load of hard work to pick it all up and try something different to build a better, more peaceful, more productive life for your family, and I wish you all the very best. Nothin' but respect.

There's nothing else like putting your family's name on a chunk of land, no matter how humble or fancy. And even if you don't get settled in for a few weeks, there's still plenty of time to get a small garden plot ready and grow a bit of "winter" veggies down there once the deep summer heat passes... and plan a spot for your dog... and places for the kids to play... it's a continuing process that never really ends. That's some addictive but healthy stuff right there :)

Congrats WW! I'm glad you're able to get outta that ghetto you're in now. Yay, no more punks shooting into your house. I'm sure it'll be great for your fam to get out into the country. Very envious of you!

Shop S-Mart!

Just received a deck of Kabar playing cards I ordered some time ago. Pretty cool deck o' cards, but damn, are they slippery!

Got tickets today for the Indy 500. SO ridiculously excited!

Awesome CBear. Hope you have a blast mate. I'd love to go see the Indy.

Hey have you ever watched any of our V8 SuperCar races that we have here in Aus? I think you'd like it.

They've actually recently (within the last coupla years) added new makes to the race so it's not just Ford vs Holden any more. But the Ford Falcons (4L turbo'd 6) and the Holden Commodores (6L V8) are what the Police over here use as pursuit vehicles. Monsters of things. They sound so cool. Except when they've got the sirens on right up ya clacker!

Holdens newest VF HSV 6.2L makes 455hp from the factory and sounds unholy when opened up!

Anyway mate, have a great time at the 500. I'm pretty jelly..

that might involve slinky girls sitting on my tractor :D

so what are you waiting for? :D

This could get you started

Son of a gun!! I think I got a fake fishing reel off of the bay. I ordered an Okuma reel a bit over a week ago and didn't even check to see if they were faked. It showed up today and its heavier than advertised, the spool isn't colored right, the crank handle is attached differently, and it it's missing a cutout. I'm gonna have to contact Okuma tomorrow to make sure its fake, but its sure looking like it is. I've never filed an eBay/PayPal claim, so I hope its a smooth process.

Called Okuma yesterday and we figured out that I got an international model that's not supposed to be sold here or something along those lines. So, not a fake at least. Its different than I wanted (heavier, different materials, etc), but I found a rod to throw it on where the extra weight won't matter much. It seems to be a good reel, the drag is really nice , and its pretty smooth, so I was hoping it was real. Hopefully I get to try it out soon.

The farmers I worked for last fall had a small JD tractor that's a bit bigger than that one. It sure was handy for all kinds of things. It actually has a cab, radio, a/c, etc and a ton of attachments. Off the top of my head they have a box drag, disc, plow, tiller, auger, snowblower, mower deck, and I don't remember what else for it. We even ran a grain auger off of the rear PTO to fill bins and built/repaired a few approaches with it.

You are going to get a ton of use out of it. That little backhoe will be very handy.

I don't think the Falcon has been made here since the 60's when they took the platform and put the Mustang on it in '65 (I think). I had a '63 Ford Falcon, and it was a rolling junk heap. Got me where I needed to go....sometimes. I'll dig up the pic, it was pretty funny. In other falcon news, I saw a pretty rare one in a tree the other day:

I'll say. Where you at?

Not quite your view, Jerry, but I got to have lunch at the top of Mt. Uncanoonuc just west of ManchVegas. Who knew?

I could see the Boston skyline, which was at least 60+ miles away. I was pretty envious of this place.

We were up in Smokey Mt. National park bumming around a bit before we head over to Ethan's. That looks like an awesome spot to have lunch, BTW. Our view didn't quite extend that far yesterday as the rain moved in.

I've heard about that. They get pretty wound up about it in my town.

Hey Jerry, headin to the Indians game today with my daughter. not as cool as where your at. But you know as well as I do.. pretty cool!

That tree looks very suspiciously like a ghost gum eucalyptus which would probably make that an Australian Ford Falcon. Yep, there it is. Steering wheel on the right. She's an Aussie..

My dream car is a 63 Falcon wagon. But they're pretty much all in the same condition yours was in GSOM. Unless your bum is well acquainted with 100 dollar bills, then having a nice one is usually left in the realm of fantasy..
