Still have 26 mph winds here. Temp is nice though, at 71°.

I was torch cutting, grinding & welding in the sun Friday @ 95* + with my trusty golf umbrella for shade. :D
It will be a cool week in the 70's this go-round.

Love my Dogwood fire fly scales, might have to swap the one on the BK5 to one of my 9s. Glad I got two sets of them! One Blue and green glowies and one Clear and green glowies. Helped find them in the snow on some winter nights!

Suppose some one could hollow out a micarta handle to take advantage of the skeletal tang of the BKs and put a mini glow stick in there.

But been getting snowy things still lately this late in the spring time.

Thanks man. He has more on there tonight than he has had. All full size, or for the 11, and 14. No tweener that I see.

I love my Dogwood Firefly Tweener Scales!

I just checked out the tweener scales he has listed. I like a few, but I'll wait for just the right pair. I like when both sides match pretty well.

I would love to see a set of olive wood. Right now I am going to use the tan scales on mine. Ordered a kydex sheath of eBay from Valhalla kydex a while back I was was looking for someone to make a kydex belt slide that I could adapt the BK-11 sheath to belt carry I emailed several makers some here and others Valhalla kydex is the only one that returned my email . He made what I wanted so I went with him for a sheath for the 16

Overnight rain Monday night, windy and cool last 2 days. I'll take all the cool breeze I can get!
Hopefully getting an install crew lined up for a certain garage roll up door that has been in the wings for far too long. Lots of prep work went beforehand.

Is it something you can do with a co-worker?
Or is there more to it?
Me and my brother did mine and it’s been good for the last 13 yrs.

@ 700 pounds plus, I don't want to hurt anybody trying to wing it. I already used the whole crew from work and the company flatbed to bring it home. I had it trucked to my workplace, because I knew we would need a forklift to unload it. ;) There were about 8 or 10 of us lowering it to the driveway where it stayed until now.

There's no returning it, never got it. FIL ordered it, then gave me the receipt to contact the seller for shipping, etc. I didn't bother Wednesday night, as we go to his house then for supper. Last night, after work, I opened up the envelope again, and paid more attention to the cost, which was unusually low. Went to the website, and it was based out of Indonesia. Red flag city. Googled it, and confirmed it was a scam. I found this online, this is how it goes down:

...

10. The scammer claims there has been some mistake and that the goods are on their way. You just

have to wait.

repeat the last 2 steps until the scammer gets paid and you get stuck with an expensive piece of paper.

fortunately, more often than not, paypal fixes the problem. had some chinese scammers for a product, and they know exactly how long they have to wait... but if you file a complaint, and promptly demand the item and PROOF of the actual item being shipped (like customs documents, weight, etc) - it should be easy to see what the parcel was "letter" or "box" or "crate" or demand an immediate return in full... the clocks are reset, esp the big one that says you cannot make a claim. might take a few frustrating weeks, but the money gets back.

good luck with this mission...
