I got the email about the slingshot yesterday. The price isn't bad, but imo, flat bands are more accurate than tube bands.

Are they swappable?
I was hoping you'd chime in on this one. It looks pretty cool, and you've got a nice collection, IIRC.

Yeah, it looks like it was made for either, but it comes with tubes. I only have a few slingshots. just kinda never got into it.

Bought this little case off the zon. Sorry for the crappy indoor photos:

So far, I have a 6" ferro rod, 1/2" thick with striker, up to 30" bellows, fire piston, and a piece of fatwood in it. Thinking of adding one of the small Altoid tins with tinder for the piston:

I have the same one, I keep my pencils and highlighters that I use studying the Bible
We just got home from a Contemporary gospel concert . I hung out for a while with Ryan Ellis he is a talented young man that has a top 5 gospel song right now. My wife and I and Ryan were comparing tattoos . Big Daddy Weave was great. The place is 6 miles from the house.

I used a wrist rocket in my younger days. Started from tweenage years, the old man said "YOUR NEVER GETTING A BB/AIR RIFLE!" despite the other sibs got one. I had taconite pellets to practice with and found 54 caliber musket balls real big critter droppers as well... I got pretty good at hitting things even at real long ranges. I was smart enough to never let the old man how good I was or he would of said "NO WEAPONS WHAT SO EVER!" form some dumb reason. Seems mom kept my secret and the sibs as well or their "WEAPONS" would been "FORBODEN!" as well. Grandmother love the fact I could chase deer out of the garden from a long range.

Purchased a 110 off the used market. No sheath. Sweet blade, had no idea it was this heavy duty. Sorry for the crappy indoor photos, raining outside.

yuppers, these things are the unsung heavy duty BEASTS, price is right, sheaths are tight.

you can (as you likely know), easily buy another sheath

they even sell the blades NAKED for those what like to make handles

the mini scrama is cute as hell, it's the little wharncliffe that could

I took zero pictures. :(

I know, I know...
Also, Matt Parkinson didn't have any swords this weekend, so we didn't get to stage our semi-annual fencing picture.
Bill Tyc had a phenomenal selection of his sweet little scaled kiridashi, Derick Kemper's integral twist handles are positively medieval, and a bunch of other usual suspects were there.

Here's a photo of my wife's Scout on the left, which has bands set up OTT, or over the top, and the right one is my Hathcock Sniper, which is set up TTF, or through the fork.

I've been looking at slingshots since deer season to target the occasional armadillo or squirrel while I'm sitting in the blind. Got a good recommendation for a beginner?
