Noblie Custom Knives – New Handcrafted Folders, Fixed Blades & Engraved Art Knives

Review: Noblie Custom Knives – Hand Engraving, Titanium Scales, Gold & Copper Inlays

I’ve handled a lot of knives over the years, but this piece stopped me in my tracks. The first thing you notice is the hand engraving—it’s not just decoration, it’s storytelling in steel. Every line is cut deep and clean, no hesitation marks, no filler work. Then there’s the gold and copper inlays. I can tell the inlay work took days—of patience.
The titanium scales feel warm in hand, not the cold, lifeless slabs you get from factory work. They’ve been contoured just right.

This isn’t just a knife. It’s a statement about what happens when design, materials, and craftsmanship are in perfect sync.

Impressive offering....👌👌👌

European-style hunting dagger — forged Damascus, gilded fittings, carved ebony

Wrapped up a one-off commission and wanted to share it here for feedback.

Build notes
  • Blade: forged Damascus, deep acid etch to bring out the pattern
  • Guard & furniture: hand engraving with gold overlays; pierced elements silver-soldered
  • Finish: mounts silvered throughout, wolf-head pommel
  • Handle: ebony with hand-carved ornament
  • Scabbard: engraved and gilded panels to match the hilt

I’d appreciate critique on the engraving flow, guard/ricasso transition, and overall proportions. Thanks for looking!

Just finished a new pocket knife that I wanted to share here.
  • Blade: PM Damasteel, hardness 62 HRC
  • Handle: Crystallized titanium of our own making, anodized for a multi-tone finish
  • Maker: Noblie Custom Knives
The contrast between the Damasteel pattern and the crystallized titanium scales came out especially striking. Always interesting to experiment with new titanium treatments and see how the anodizing plays with light.

Here’s a new project from Noblie Custom Knives – a folding knife that combines detailed laser engraving with a Joker-inspired theme. The titanium scales feature full-color engraving work, while the blade is forged from Damasteel in the Hugin pattern, giving it a bold and dynamic look.

We aimed for a balance between the chaotic aesthetic of the Joker and the precision of modern engraving techniques. Curious to hear your impressions – does this kind of themed engraving enhance the appeal of a custom piece, or do you prefer more traditional ornamentation?
