May I get a little assistance? I bought three BM off Nomadik. I apologize I can't find the URL. Nonetheless the package showed up with only two knives. Package is tattered, top wasn't sealed. I had the luxury of it already opened when it showed up to my door. Nomadik said F&F and he would make a great deal, which I agreed, and he did make a great deal. I have no protection as to how I paid.
Nomadik responded with he has shipped hundreds of knives and my claim was BS. I have a hard time believing that throwing 3 knives in boxes in a envelope without padding or securing them is a method used by someone shipping hundreds of knives... Give me a break.
As well, who owns ten knives of the same model, in multiple models, that decides to sell at once. You are a dealer.
I would like a input. Yes, I trusted a BF Member and paid FF. I guess its time to put the guard up and treat members here as people on social media. Why pay the membership? Open the floodgates to idiotic behavior, broken deals, and trades on every knife posted.
Please.

Note to self...Hard lesson you just learned
I am sorry for that..
NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER
pay via F&F
TO NO ONE !!!!
Even if the thread/seller requests it STEER CLEAR
Nothing good will come of it..

I dont care if its a person that has been here for 20 years..
Just that..You now will eat the price paid..Come in here to express your
terrible transaction..And you wont get a reply from the seller
If "It SOUNDS TOO good to be TRUE"" It no doubt is..........

His lack of respect and or common courtesy for packaging simply ""SUCKS""

Also reach out an give a Moderator the low down on what this guy tried to do.

You paid F&F to someone you suspected was a dealer? And no, the social media thing to do was pay F&F in order to "make a great deal." You screwed yourself once you paid F&F. Your actions and the sellers actions are what sour simple transactions here. We rarely see problems between people who deal honestly on both ends. Neither of you did so and look what happened. I'd like to hear from the seller before I put you both on ignore.

This sucks, but you brought this on yourself. Not rubbing salt in the wound, but the only time we see these types of threads here, is when the buyer uses F&F, period.
If the seller just decides to ignore you, there is nothing you can do at all.
Has he been made aware of this thread???
Joe

Edit: Sent seller PM re this thread.

I'm assuming he's a dealer, I shouldn't. I bought the knives from the individual sales not dealer sales. My assumption comes from the fact I purchased these three knives another 484-1 was up for sale in his very next thread. As well, he either collected 761's like they were going out of style as or he is a dealer. I've noted 4 different posts from Nomadik on 761.

I have never had a bad deal here. I'm new, but its a relief to come to BF and be apart of the community. A community that reflects respect and appropriate fairness. It is so far removed from the garbage that takes place in social media knife.. A comfort of knowledge and lighthearted laughter.
I'll eat it, harden up, and move on.. I didn't want to use this facet, I reached out to a moderator who said to move it here. You think I want to be chastised by a group of my peers on what a jackass I was....? Ugh..

This amigo has been stocking me for quite awhile, other members came to my rescue while he was harassing me. To my amazement he orderes three knives! Three boxes were placed personally in Scotch bubble mailer 10x15 cushioned/self sealing bag. This bag cannot be unsealed. I did ship hundreds of envelopes like this one without any incidents, I used to be a dealer, not anymore. Please stop harassing me.

^ Duke:

I'm sorry that this happened to you. When I first joined here, & as I was going through the BF learning curve, I sent a couple of PP friend payments (thinking I was doing the seller a favor). Obviously, in retrospect, they were ignorant mistakes. I was fortunate however, to be dealing with honest, reputable BF member's, and nothing bad came out of those mistakes.

I guess if there's a positive to be taken here: at least you did receive 2 out of the 3 knives, and it wasn't a total loss.

I just don't understand why some people on this forum, are such stingy miser's and will ship a knife in a freaking envelope. It's plain and simple: incredibly stupid! There is no excuse, for such stupid actions.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Three knives to ship, and the seller decided to make the stupid decision to ship the buyer's knives in a freaking envelope and one comes up missing... BIG SURPRISE!!!:rolleyes::confused::rolleyes::confused::rolleyes:

Monday, I shipped out a Zero Tolerance 0450 (without the box). I shipped this very small solo knife carefully packed in a USPS priority small flat rate box. The thought of saving 3-4 bucks and shipping it in a envelope; not even a remote possibility!

^ Quote for posterity. And FYI, it's: "stalking"

Can't be unsealed? Seriously?
Some people never learn.

Thank you very much for the head's up, OP- I'd never buy from a seller whom subscribes to this these type of shipping practices!

Knives in a paper thin padded envelope...what could go wrong. :D
I can easily tear one of these open with my fingers.

And I didn't even touch on the fact, what a SCUMBAB move it was on your part, to not only ship 3 knives in an envelope, but to conveniently leave the buyer unprotected, and cheat/steal from PayPal at the same time! PATHETIC!

Go Spurs!

I don't stock people, I do admit I stock knives. Every day of my life I have particular knives I want, had and let go, or simply desire. Right now it happens to be 761 and Nirvana. I wake up every morning and scour the world for both of these knives. You have had multiple posts on 761. The one member who came to your defense in saying You had one post was wrong..
Look at your packaging. I didn't cut it open, tear it open, it was never sealed. Period.
Your next post had a 484-1. Just like I was to receive. I don't want to lead down the road of mischief, but look at it from my stand point. I never got the knife. There are other issues with the other two I haven't even addressed.
You win, I messed up in trusting you. You should consider insurance, and securing packages better. Throwing three knives in a bubble envelope no padding, no secure placement is a bit risky and damaging to the box and knife itself. I've never seen such a careless package.

^ You need to report this thief to PayPal. They don't take kindly to scumbags whom use their services, without paying for them. No matter how you dice it up, it's stealing, and it speak volumes as to the seller's character, or lack thereof. :poop:

He stole from PayPal, he very well may have swindled a knife from you in the process. If it walks like a duck...

I could say there is an unauthorized charge on my PP account, I could. That is completely dishonest though... I simply want what I paid for. I have used bubble mailers, but I gorilla tape the seams and edges, make sure its a snug fit, pad the knife inside of its box, bad the box in the envelope and the clear tape the living goods out of it.. This was a envelope with three knives flopping around.

It's also completely dishonest to tell Paypal that you are sending money to friends or family when you are paying for goods or services. So don't let the dishonesty stop you -- you're a dishonest guy! A total liar and a thief! As is the seller. You both conspired to steal from Paypal.

Wheeeeeee!

You're correct. I stole from PayPal the 3.5 percent they deserved. I won't argue the point you've made. I'm a liar and thief and was dishonest with PayPal. In your mind I deserved the punishment before the crime. Therefore this is justified? Very well.
Thank you.

Sorry, brother. You've unfortunately had a "come to Jesus" moment. Seems like you learned from it. That's not the worst thing in the world.

The money stings, the 484-1 is all I really qanted wanted from the deal, the other two were to handle and pass on in a good deal. The sadness and hurt comes from the actions of distrust and abandonment. To roll into the forum and let your guard down and just be.. Enjoy the days activities, read the new posts, see what was out there, glimpse into one another's lives and help where you could.. buy/sell/trade/ pass around a knife..
Once I got over the fear of being here, it is where I prefer to be.
Fuck it, Nomadik skates by razor thin, I loose couple hundred dollars...
