Northwoods 15?

I'll say this much Joseph, if I hadn't already ordered an ivory, your pics would've done it for me!!! Lots of grain can be seen in your pics! Beautiful!

Thanks to KJ & Perry I am on board with an Ivory Broadway! Those pictures gentlemen just did it for me. Resistance e is futile. Really fine Photographs you two and others of you
who have photographed their prizes so well-thank you. I sort of ignored the Northwoods initially but watching this thread expand with such fine comments about this model just drew me in. When Perry ( whose opinion I highly regard) gave the Broadway J. such high marks I knew that was it and I was going in. Hey Perry you may have and others addressed this already but what is the pull like? I assume a pinch blade withdrawal is all the more easy with the EO embellishment? Mine should be here in the next few days. Thanks and All the BEST, Lloyd

Hey Lloyd, glad you were able to score one of the Ivory! The pull on both of mine varies slightly between a 6 to 7, I would say. I guess one of the many reasons these appeal to me so much is the combining of an old style frame with a new twist in the modified wharncliff blade design. Course I love that arrowhead shield and the handle materials chosen were spot on!

Like others have stated the Northwoods Broadway Jack is a winner. I am still carrying my undyed version. But you guys need to stop talking about the blues and ivories. I am trying to stay focused on the black version. You are distracting me :).

Lmao! TX, I hear ya, my undyed camel bone has only been out of my pocket when the blue has been there.
My blue bone is like glass in its finish, which is great, but I also appreciate the unfinished look of the undyed bone. The Ivory should be yet another look altogether different. Sorry TX, couldn't help it! Lol

Great photos, guys. I had to get an ivory myself... The #15 profile with an EO and ivory? You don't have to ask me twice! Yes, please!

Looks like the Ivory is really on the march again! To get a high end handle material on a #15 frame is quite appealing.

Here is a picture of #13. This one has some beautiful grain in it, just really hard for my photo skills to get it to pop.

Ok, I have to stop looking at this thread till my blue finds it way home. You guys are killing me with the Ivory. :D

Crazy good, Jamie! The gauntlet has been thrown out there, for me to see if I can even get close to all these wonderful shots of the ivory!

Here are a couple more pictures detailing the ivory a little more realistically. Still looks much better in person. Fit & Finish is simply superb. Check out the centering and the tip on the blade!

^^ Wow! WOW!! It looks amazing in these photos, I'm sure it even better in person as you say. Thanks for sharing these blademan 13

My 15 has a mushy snap while closing (back in the frame). I gave it a WD40 bath, followed by warm-soapy cleaning, drying and oiling. It has improved, but still doesn't crisply go back in the frame. I hope it improves over time. Anyone experience this?

Unfortuntely, from time to time there always seems be a few that have this issue. No matter what run of knives it is, you can always find a few in the bunch that have this issue. I hate that and wish that GEC would fix this. Wow Jamie, I believe you just nailed it! I can see the veins even!

Well, none of the blue ones they have now looked any better than my beauty, so I guess I'll wait till the black ones arrive.
I was hoping for some real deep dark blue like the other jacks sometimes have.
Too happy with what I got syndrome...

Which is a good syndrome to have. I'm quite pleased with my blue, also.

I like all the variations in the new blues too. Variation is the spice of life:D Course after grabbing an ivory over the weekend, I'm as giddy as a school girl,,, all over again!
