Northwoods 15?

Yep, they have been hot alright! Steve, when you mentioned it already feels like an old friend I thought that this is a part of these we haven't really talked about much on here. The feel of these is pretty special indeed. From the smooth angles, the EO notch or the invisibility in the pocket, just the perfect pocket knife for me, I guess that's why I keep finding new reasons to buy another one! Plus the perfect marriage of new and old in one knife.

I know what you mean, Perry. I have a hard time keeping my Blue one out of my pocket...so I just gave up and carry 3 knives now instead of two. Right now the Blue is on mail and package duty. Sure does feel good in hand and goes well with denim to boot!!

One more shot while awaiting the Blacks or "Smokes" as I have come to call them.:D
Pretty hard to shoot both in the same pic with trying to get the grain to pop on that ivory.

Ok, I lied here's one more.

You're right Dean! No better blue jean knife and today I cut one of those plastic milk jugs in half with mine, for my wife to use for an art project. Didn't even dull the blade. Couple swipes on my crocks and good as new.

I carrried the Broadway Jack for a couple days at work, although I did not get a chance to use it at all. But I would occasionally "feel it up" and it had a familiarity to it that I initially couldn't place.
so here's the story...

Then I used my 30 odd year old camper SAK and there it was. They both have main blade that rides about the same height on both. Obviously the SAK is a lot thicker, with 4 spines but the grip had the top of the bohncliff hitting the distal crease of the middle finger of my left hand ( left handed). Felt right at home. That SAK was a present from my wife on the first day of my residency ( surgery)...I spent my first year at the top of the Hill in Portland Oregon of all places. It was kind of a joke to get this knife with a corkscrew, since all during our road trip from Colorado we camped out, and I had the most difficult time mastering the art of opening wine bottles with those two bladed thing a bobs, I forget the name, but something fancy and probably french. My wife was a bartender/waitress back then and was able to whip those corks out...me, I drove them into the bottle. Lots of memories in that knife... The dampness tho drove this hawaiian boy and his colorado native back to colorado to finish up in emergency medicine.
My wife's and I's wedding ring was made by a craftswoman we found under the Burnside Bridge....and now have a very nice traditional from the area. We have surprisingly never returned to Portland.

Sigh. I just can't seem to get hold of one ... are there still blue ones available anywhere on this planet?

Wow! So many of the photos on this thread are just amazing! Quite the treat for me this morning to page through while waiting for the black bone to go live. I have never been drawn so completely to bone like I have been to this one (wood for me almost always). I sure am glad I got set to go for these; here and gone in less than an hour and a half! I am the lucky future recipient of black bone #46:

I feel very fortunate to have this on the way. Anybody else get their own personal pick of the litter like I did?
Thanks,
Brian

Finest of the bunch I would say, Brian! I'm close behind ya however with this beauty! This one I chose looks like an old milk cow we used on the farm back in the 1970s, back when I was almost a cowboy, not my choice of course! My dad thought it would be fun to raise cattle, didn't bother to ask my brother and I if we thought it would be fun! Delivering calves at 3am was not my idea of fun. Anyway, the Black camel bone in this one I bought reminds me of those crazy, long days in the Texas heat.
