Northwoods 15?

I saw the black ones come and go. None of them appealed to me, so I let others have at them. I have a red and blue. I am content for now. Just need to get and orange one for my brother.

Wow! So many of the photos on this thread are just amazing! Quite the treat for me this morning to page through while waiting for the black bone to go live. I have never been drawn so completely to bone like I have been to this one (wood for me almost always). I sure am glad I got set to go for these; here and gone in less than an hour and a half! I am the lucky future recipient of black bone #46:

I feel very fortunate to have this on the way. Anybody else get their own personal pick of the litter like I did?
Thanks,
Brian

I wish. More like 6 failed attempts. Then the table scraps. :)

Mercifully, knives not only ship free, but also ship fast!:D
My lovely #46 in person, in very bright outdoor conditions:

The pink hue is my sunburned reflection! VERY hard to capture the color, but the detail in the bone is marble-like. LOVE this knife.:)
Thanks,
Brian

I tried for 21, 38, 46, 58, 62, and 83...finally got 50 something. Ya'll are fast. :(

Might be number #46 on the site but #1 in my eyes! Lots of depth, variation and marble appearance! Very nice Brian.

After missing all of them I think I'll bow out of the thread, too depressing after waiting for them.
Thanks all.

Thanks Perry; I can't wait to see yours captured with your stellar photo skills! I think this knife pushed my phone's camera abilities (and mine) to the limit.
J_Curd- I only looked at about 3 knives beyond the thumbnail, and bought #42 as soon as I saw the pile side cover (I am a lefty, so that is the side I see the most). #38 was the other choice for me as well. I don't imagine I would regret any of them though; all had something good going for them for sure! Looking forward to the next round of photos from everyone else!
Thanks,
Brian

I'm mainly bitter at a meeting that ran long, a sales rep who didn't take the hint to bugger off, and a Windows update that had my browser crawling. Being a software guy, I'm typically fierce competition :)

I hear ya J! Work can be very trying sometimes.
Brian, you are very much like me. I don't spend a lot of time, just get the one I want and move.
I'm also a lefty!

That's a really great picture of the marbling of the black bone there Baldy....er I mean Brian.

well I'm pretty bald myself and a lefty also...strange we adopted both of our kids and both are lefty's.

HA! You should see me at the grocery store: I am a blur.
I am slowly browsing through all the other black bone pictures, and there really are just no unappealing ones to me. Granted, some of the cover matches aren't great, but each and every one of them have its very own charm and personality. I saw one that just barely looked grey speckled on white, all the way to one that could be almost mistaken for smooth buffalo horn, and EVERYTHING in between. . .
I am coming to the realization that the perfect number of knives is one more than you have at any given time!;)
Thanks,
Brian

Terrible enablers!!!!! I sold my undyed bone last week on the exchange to free up some funds to buy a custom I had a shot at. But I have a surprise coming!!! Well it's not a surprise now I guess lol. I saw some red sawcuts hit the site at the same time as the black bone variants so I just had to see one in my hand. Should have it in a few days I believe...the tracking isn't showing it shipped yet though....

I think the Black Camels were a diversion...I missed the others and would've grabbed those too. It's not the first time I've been a sucker.

I'm right there with you, Brian! I would've been happy with any of them because they're all unique in one way or another. That's great Jake that you got a red saw cut! I was surprised others showed up when the blacks were available, including a few more blues. I tell ya though, I love this undyed bone so much, to me, Derrick created a classic IMO.

J_Curd, I know what you mean. I can't tell you how many times we all here have missed a knife we wanted.

I'm delighted to see that my Broadway Jacks already arrived in the UPS outpost only 5km away from my house (mind you, I'm in Germany).
Unfortunately I have to pay customs/tax and I guess to process this will take another 3 days. :/
