Very curious to know details about the upcoming Northwoods "Steve". Unfortunately, with such a common name it makes it difficult to find information. Most of my search results are links to guys named Steve. If you hear about any details for the upcoming "Steve" run will you post it for me please.

My assumption is it will be a #15, #35, or #13 frame, but that's just a guess based off what's in production. The Production Schedule seems to imply it's a single blade, it's listed as a spear. The cover choices are Red Linen Micarta, Mammoth, Giraffe, and Stag.

Thank you,

Jeff

I'm guessing this is named after a customer or one of the guys in the GEC shop. It could also be a working name, might be the long pull spear point 15 barlow we've been waiting for, but from Northwoods/KSF.

I saw that on the production schedule and laughed out loud, with delight. I don't know what it's gonna be, but I would love to pull out my traditional "Steve" to show someone, or say "no, let me cut that with my Steve, he's hardly been out of my pocket today ". Awesome.😎
Thanks, Neal

If you have any questions, talk to Steve.

Hey, that's a good idea.

I went out and tried to find Steve, but ran into this guy. He looked like he might know something.. maybe his middle name was Steve, I don't remember... Anyway, I asked him and all he wanted to do is talk about how much he loves his hat!

On my way home I ran into this dude. He seemed like he might now something too, but really freaked me out with his giant machete.

Thanks again for the tip. I'm off to go look for more Steve's.

 :D

You found some pretty scary pictures of Derrick there. That's definitely not somebody I'd like to see in a room full of knives.

With the size that Bark Rivers are going I'm really afraid we're going to hear the sad news some day that Derrick tripped while carrying a brand new Bravo 4 and now there are two Derricks. The world can't handle 2 Derricks...

If it is a GEC type frame I just hope it lasts long enough for anyone but the most alert to get one. Not really interested in a feeding frenzy like we've seen recently.

I would be shocked if GEC built a Barlow other than Charlie's TCs on the 15 frame.

Mike just announced run of 71's . Premium material on a sod buster would be great . If so, too bad smooth yellow bone isn't one of the options
Just realized spear blade is listed , guess that wouldn't work on the 71

...Also a run of 74's. So, who knows, it might be a 15, 71, 13, 74, or 35?

Too many options to even think about, makes me want to throw my hands up in the air..

74's? , didn't know that

I'm definitely hoping to get my hands on "Steve" as well. It would be my first Northwoods. A long pull 15 Barlow would be awesome.

So many different Steves...

Steven, Stephen, Stephan, Steve, Stevie.

Maybe not that many, but there are a few out there.

If I recall correctly the 74's might be available for CK early reserve next week or so.

The Esky Zulu's are 74's so you would assume a Steve will not be on the 74 frame, who knows. Steve sounds like a fake name for a knife. Since the 74's are coming up, maybe someone at KSF thought it would be funny to use a code name for Esky Zulu and call it Steve. They post some funny things at times...

I hope "Steve" is a spear point #15!... although my wallet is hoping for a different pattern. I cant get enough of the #15 pattern.:)
